I dunno, I’ll wait for the reviews before I become excited. None of those games (except Metal Gear Ac!d 2) really catches *my* eye. I'm not saying they are bad games, but for games like Battlefront 2 and SOCOM... I'll just be picking up the console versions. Maybe I’m weird, but I'm looking for sometime different from the console crowd, like Metal Gear Ac!d or Lumines. There is always next year…

Well here is a big reason, its portable. I mean you can't just haul a tv around on your back and whip out the counsel now can you?

but..... playing first person shooters is like..... not as fun as on a console or a pc....

handhelds are good for roleplaying, and like RTS and strategy and such. It's too hard to shoot people without some joystick or a mouse.

So your saying don't get it because you do not like it? Play coded arms the last controll scheme gets the fps for handheld right.

Also the psp has a analog nub...and i find that as usefull as a whatever the things on most controllers are called. And you can make it bigger with aftermarket stuff....

I'm saying it makes no sense to play an FPS on a handheld that's all

like try metroid hunters, it's wacked up and doesn't compare with the gamecube counterparts

In all fairness, that IS only a demo, though.

Yes it does it's called a portability. If it so happens I want to play a FPS on the go then I will. Just because you might not want to doesn't mean there aren't people who will. Go play Stand Alone Complex and then come tell me a FPS can't work on a portable. You sound exactly like people years ago who said nothing would work on a portable besides platformers and other games with basic controls.

Besides here's a novel idea try it before you knock it.

Can't forget the new Katamri game coming out in December in Japan. It's a no brainer for PSP release here in the US so expect an announcement soon.

Yeah deffinetly Katamari on the road would be sweet. Makes me wish there was an extra analong nub for the full effect but ya gotta compromise. I'm sure it will work fine anyway.

I'll probably get the Giga pack, which is the new Value Pack. $50 more but it has a 1 GB stick instead of the 32 Mb and only leaves out the white strap. It comes with a stand and a USB cable as well. So a pretty good deal.

I dunno... when I play FPS... I mainly try to play it on a system where I would play most effectively... so I can get the "pumped up action feeling" when playing cs:source... that never happens with a handheld FPS
