I got to see it before I saw FLCL. It makes more sense than FLCL... I actually enjoyed it more.

Yep, I love Azumanga Daioh!

A Favorite.
One of the few shows that make you crack up non-stop with every episode.

What kind of humor? Well, that may not be that answerable... I mean, I like simpsons and I like mystery science theater, but the humor in them is very different...

Simpsons has a lot of big jokes that are really funny but doesn't keep me laughing; MST3k has a lot of little, not that funny jokes, that add up and make me laugh harder and harder... Which one would you say (opinion, obviously) that Azumanga Daioh be? and, how much does it rely on fanservice... I heard it's pretty heavy on fanservice... And, since Kenchii compared it to FLCL, that makes me wonder...

Imagine seeing something really funny and you can't stop laughing no matter how many times you see it. I think that's how funny this show can be.

The 'funny' question was already answered.

Nope. Hardly no fanserves at all. have seen around only 7 episodies, and from that, nothing. I read more reviews on it and they said it was pretty clean.

Check out http://www.themanime.org/ and search for Amzmanga Daioh and see what they said about the rating.

It is completely clean. Every episode is different; the series takes place over the course of high school. Every character is unique and completely different.

What you've seen in the first 7 episodes is just the start...it gets better :-D

This would be the ideal comedy for this type of website. All admins should check it out and make an official review.

Definately a good series and one of the funniest I've seen. The opening is pretty cool too.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.
