Isn't the new switchfoot cd great???? I really don't get what most of the lyrics mean, but I love the music... It's great. My favorite song so far on the cd is: The shadow proves the sunshine. Anyone know what it's supposed to mean? I think it may mean something like... when we go thru dark times in our lives, it shows just how wonderful the Lord really is. Something along those lines. I don't really know how to describe it. Any thoughts?

I really like 'Lonely Nation' off of the new CD, but I think I may have heard 'Meant to Live' once too many times on the radio and I've kinda lost my taste for them.

New Way to Be Human is a really great album though. I haven't listened to that track (Shadows/Sunlight) yet, so I can't give you much help on it.

Yeah, I love them too, but I'm glad they have a new album because I was a bit tired of the older songs...

I listened to them on the airplane. XD They were on the radio thingy, they played about five songs in a row.

There was one I really liked...but I don't remember what it is...the shadow/sunshine one was cool. That might be what it was, but I'm not sure. I think I'll buy that CD.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I thought something along those lines too.

The new CD is great - lots of good songs. I like Lonely Nation, The Setting Sun, Politicians, etc. Also The Shadow Proves The Sunshine is great too.

I have all their earlier albums too :).
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.

Nothing Is Sound sucks for the most part. I only like a couple songs from it.

Love The Beautiful Letdown though.

:( Yeah I think so far I like the beautiful letdown the best but I really do love the new one too. Do you guys think that Jon writes weird lyrics or what? Sometime I just want to write a bunch of random words and make a song out of them. Maybe that's what he does.

Oh well... it's great stuff anyway.

Nothing is Sound is too depressing... But it does have some really good songs on it! And I like their older stuff too.
