Hey, seeing as we got a pretty good discussion going over there, let's start a thread for theories on Legato.

Why's he psycho? Who or what does he love? Anything else? From the silly to the psychological to whatever-it's welcome here. :)

(LOL, sorry if this doesn't seem too intelligent of a post-I'm posting in a hurry. And no, it's not a mere soapbox for me to shout my K/L theories from and get :banned:, .)

A little known fact about Legato is that there was once a terrible accident (explosives were involved) during his tour of a blueberry muffin factory. It accounts for two things, not only his love for all things sweet, but also his blue hair...;) It's kinda like a mutant power. His power over desserts is especially strong.

Legato is part feline.

Think about it! He has gold eyes... gold/amber eyes are unseen in humans, yet are common in cats. Legato likes to lick himself... his left arm, (which those of us who have seen the whole series know why he likes that arm... but it is a spoiler, so I will not post it)... the way he licks his left hand is very much like the way a cat licks its paw. He has a cool, aloof demenor, much like that of a cat.

Oh, yeah, and he's in love with Kuroneko. Kuroneko is his furry little sweetheart, whom he gets presents of catnip toys and kitty treats. He cuddles his little "Furkin" when no one is looking.

Interesting ideas. I prefer the 'crazy anti-human bishounen' myself. It's also abvious he's from Montana. His accent, name, and dressing style fit right in.

Hmmmm . . . Legato does seem like a cat . . . maybe kuroneko's brother?

Seriously though, maybe he is just the product of a desolate planet. He was weak and alone or something and came across Knives, and was influenced by him. He probably had a rough life and the only one who showed any interest was Knives. OR maybe he waspicked on a lot as kid and he sees Knives as the way to get back at humanity for hating him . . .

This thread could get deep . . .

Come on now! Everyone knows that Montanans wear shoulder spikes! I mean, where have you been!? ^_^ I'm kidding! I'm kidding! *runs away*

ARGH! My computer must not like this site for some reason... After every key stroke I type, it gives me an error message. And I feel really stupid now, 'cause I just now realized that I could type this else where and then copy and past in into the message box instead of having to click "ok" on the error message every time I typed something...><'''
Anyway,

I think Legato is really just a little kid on the inside who's looken' for someone to understand him...

Legato: *bursts into song* I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy -
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
A little high, little low,
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me......
But I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me -

Chorus members: He's just a poor boy from a poor family -
Spare him his life from this monstrosity -

Um, yeah....thats it...*hums*...Gallileo...

A random bit on me and Legato- This A-kon, I'm going to be running around as a Femmy Vash (my bestfriend is going to be a Femmy Wolfwood ^_^!!) and now these 3 guys I know have decided to go as Knives , Legato and Midvally, simply to chase me around and taunt me...><''' Well, I don't think that's the only reason they're doing it, but they did let me know that they were totally intent on chasing me around and trying to kill me...-_-''''

My bestfriend suggested that the guy going as Legato should 'barrow' the left arm from a mannequin in our schools prop room so he could chase me around with it.... I sure do have nice friends..... They're all after me!!! ><''' *cries*

It's Akamaru!! He says, WOOF!! WOOF!! ^_^

There's nothing so tragic as seeing a family pulled apart by something as simple as a pack of wolves.

Methinks Legato is a bad guy who is mean ^_^. Maybe he was mistreated by his parents and grew up with demon hobo's who instiled a hatred of humanity in his poor soul...Man I wish I could have his shoulder spikes though...They are awesome!
