I'm New
I'm new to this place...I was searching for christian anime and voila, I found this site. It's pretty neat so far. This is my absolute first day on here. So yeah. My name is Laura and I love anime; my favorites are Sailor Moon, Trigun, and Full Metal Alchemist. I have a boyfriend who doesn't like most anime, but he says he would watch some if it didn't have blood and if it was set back in medieval times or western gunslinger. Maybe someone can help? I'd definitely appreciate it. Thanks.

Sorry, the only animes I know about in medieval times have blood, like RK. It's not that bad, but it can get pretty violent at times, depending on the series.

Well, if you are looking for high action, there's Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel). Lots of shoot outs. I don't recall a lot of gratuitous blood. HOWEVER, there is a lot of gratuituous Fan Service. This show is a like, girl investigators who drive mecha in the wild west. Cowboy hats and chaps...and robots.
Does your boyfriend watch FMA with you?!! That's like, flowing with rivers of blood.
I also am enjoying Twelve Kingdoms. Too complex to talk about here. Look for a review thead.
There is an anime for every taste out there. Give us some more hints at what he likes.

Hmm... Can't think of any off the top of my head.
You might try Porco Rosso. It's not *western* or *midevil* per se, but it's WWII era, and some guys are into all three.

thanks, ppl. Ummmm, I dunno what else he likes really...oh, and yes, he's watched trigun....he kind of liked it, but not as much as I did. I loved the pastor guy with the guns in his cross!!! That rocked.
