Only noticed about 3 total. Think there were 2 D******s and 1 b******. Very minimal and definately not as bad as Cid, Barret and company on the game^^
I can easily see this movie getting a simple PG rating.

heh heh, while i was watching it one of my friends was joking that he looked rather feminine.

i though they did a stunning job with advent children, i've like watched it pretty much 3 times now, in the space of 2 days, and it was awesome.

the soundtrack, voice acting, story & fight scenes were all excellent, i'm so gonna buy the dvd if it gets a european release, hopefully they'll be some cool special features.

Incidently off-topic, i've always wondered how do you guys get the "Originally posted by ..." in your posts, i've never figured it out...

Bishie qualities... yeah I've always been a Cloud fangirl, as for Sephiroth... meh just another psycho villian :/ It's been done before. He's not amusing. But once again that Reno! Him and Rude sure make quite a team :/

My friend is getting *coughcough* the movie today and we're going to get together sometime and see it. He watched about the first ten minutes this morning and it already sounds great.

Meh, the first twenty minutes are pretty boring. I don't see much of a plot developing yet.

So I just watched Last Order today too and if that doesn't come to R2 I'll be mad! Madhouse did a great job (cause it's Madhouse!) and did the prologue story of Sephiroth and the fire, and Zack, and Cloud and Tifa fighting at the reactor etc...

EDIT: BTW for some reason they spell Zack's name "Zax" in the actual anime part (not the credits, unless they were subbed into english)

I agree that the soundtrack and voice acting were excellent, personally I was a little confused by the plot for most of the movie, but I loved the fight scenes even if there were almost too many of them by the end. I think like 90% of the movie was fight scenes. :wow!:

Oh that's easy. You can either hit the "reply button" or whent you make your little quote tags around the quoted message you put a little = and then the name of the person. Here's an example (if you remove the periods of course):

Ahh no I think the best part was when Vincent came walking up and was like "Where's the phone shop?" XD

Can't post warez on this forum openly Hope it's against the rules. I'll PM ya...

I just finished watching it a couple hours ago. Overall really good. Fight scenes, what can ya say about them other than totally awesome? You just have to see them to believe it. I can't believe that they animated most of those scenes by hand. The story was so-so really it was pretty lite, confusing in some parts, or just didn't seem to make any sense. Oh well I'm sure it'll make more sense when I hear it in English, but then FF7 had a disjointed story at points anyway.:P But it was awesome overall and it had everything I expected and more.

And sheesh why don't characters in Japanese RPGs who are love interests ever just admit their feelings for eachother and stop beating around the bush.:dizzy:

eh... copy/pasting from my other... topic I made lol... that should be locked and deleted

It was..... alright. I finished it just now, the music, animation, and voice acting was superb. But I felt it lacked plot...

[spoiler]I mean it was about 3 clan member guys who wanted a part of Jenova or something... then the guy turns into sephiroth and they fight and sephiroth looses but I don't think he died. (basic super short summary)[/spoiler]

I was expecting like parts of the movie to focus on drama and character development, then action, then drama, then action, that sort of thing... Fight at different places, different people, the battles LOOKED good and felt very good from the trailers,

[spoiler]I REALLY wanted to see the other FF7 characters (playable ones) to fight other people... instead of the big monster. but just how they put it in the movie it felt.... like it lacked something.[/spoiler]

The beginning it seemed like it would of developed the storyline quite well, but the way it ended was just so quick....

[spoiler]What I ALSO didn't like was that they didn't develop the other characters as well (playable ones, like Yuffie, Barret, Cid, Red XIII, etc) They just showed up, fought some big monster, rode an airship and talked a bit, then had that little celebration at the end.[/spoiler]

My favorite character must of been Rude.

[spoiler]Him and Reno were awesome, and also comical releif at the same time! Reno always accidentally hitting rude, breaking his sungasses. Rude getting hit by a giant sign... falling when trying to climb a wall... funny funny[/spoiler]

The ending was kind of.... lame...

[spoiler]the are at that church and are celebrating at a lifestream pool and stuff and healing kids and they all dance around and have a pool party[/spoiler]

overall... I'd say the movie is about... meh... 7 or 7.5 out of 10

A lot of people have told me that it was "SUCH A GREAT MOVIE" and that got my hopes up.... but they could be biased, especially if they were major FF7 (or ff in general) fans

Ahhhhh I don't want to wait for the US release o__o I know where I can download it but I'm not sure if I should.... I just shouldn't read anything about it. Its too tempting. If the DVD (when it finally comes out) doesn't have the Japanese language track, then I'll d/l it.

question.... in 45-46 minutes into the movie, when Yazoo says "what? you dont have any faith in us huh?" How come rude and reno are all hesitant. Reno looking back and forth in an angry fashion and rude fixing his collar. This was right before they go "Uroya!" and run to attack Loz andd Yazoo

Haven't seen it yet, but if that was the subtitles it could be some sort of mistranslation. :/
(It's like this scene on Mew Mew today where two characters were yelling at each other and the "conversation" made absolutely no sense whatsoever).

I so want to see. Where is Secret_Squirrel...?!

I want Cloud's bike. I would build that thing, if it were possible.
Favorite scene- probably the tunnel.
And Last Order was pretty good. A nice treat for the fans, I thought.

No, it isn't out in the US on DVD yet. I've heard November and December, so who knows at this point.

Now look what they did.. everyone is confused.

<extreme fan>

I saw Last Order and Advent Children (..and see them over. and over. and over..). I am an obssessed fan, so you should not be surprised if I say that they were wonderful movies and I like them too much.

But I did have dissapointment with Advent Children, a small one. And I can understand the dissapointment of others. I think the problem is that this movie had alot of hype around it, and each time the release was delayed it just built up. So by the time it was released everyone was so excited about it, that they thought the moment they saw it they would drop dead because of how good it was. But of course, no movie can do that!

My little dissapointment is [spoiler="for those who saw movie"]... for me, there wasn't enough Sephiroth. Up to the movie because of all the Cloud-Sephiroth ad and poster I saw everywhere... I thought he was going to appear more. But all happened was a fight at the end. It's good that they made him dissapear, not exact die, just for the fans of him like me.. but I wish he would have had more purpose, or something. [/spoiler]

But it isn't really important.

I like Last Order so much. I don't care if it's a short animation... for me it's just the best 25 minutes of animation right now. Go Zax!
