Oh yeh, if you read at the bottom the guy is from the Christian Gamers Guild. They're a bunch of Christians who are into RPGs like the AD&D type mostly, but also other games.

Although I fully agree with the article, I would hesitate to refer to 'summoned' creatures as Angels. Yes, they would also have been created by God, but they could not be actual angels as they, like magic, could also be used for good or evil, meaning they can neither be angelic nor demonic.

Example: Final Fantasy 9; when Brahne uses the Eidlons for world conquest; ect.

While I believe in his interpretation of fantasy magic in RPGs, I think his definition of magic is narrowly skewed to justify his own decisions. Judging by his defining it as Canaanite rituals, one could claim that Wicca was acceptable. I think there is a difference between Grandia style and Tolkein style magic on one hand and divination on the other
