the psp IS somewhat fragile (if you dont have it in its case) and its not made for little kids. the ds is made for little kids.
secondly some psp's DO have dead pixels, but most screens that have the quality of the psp or better DO have dead pixels. I had to take THREE tvs back once due to the fact they had a ton of dead pixels on screen...
Oh and bad battery life? Yes the battery life cant compare to the precious ds but if you spend the money to get a battery brick its life gets even better then the ds's.
secondly if you hate the psp why post it in this topic? what is the purpose seriously? but to flame it and say it sucks. please dont post stuff like this only post things helpfull!
oh and the update for the American version of the psp (2.0 i think) is coming out the 12th of this month. oh and on the subject of interent there has awlays been a trick to surfing the net (albeit with a clunky browser (hopes the 2.0 one isnt clunky) via wipeout pure.

desperado wrote:yeah but if they added a browser and some stuff in it would only raise the price and to appeal to there demographic they have to keep it low (by far the ds sells towards younger children))
PSP... NOT DS.... I am a nintendo fan myself... but I thik Nintendo blew it with DS, but besides the point maybe I will post a DS topic so people wn't litter this one with DS stuff...

Yojimbo wrote:You tell em desperado. I'm really getting sick of people bashing the PSP. It's doing for the handheld market what the Playstation did for consoles. Making handhelds more of an "adult" gaming experience instead of a Pokemon fest.
The PSP has a disc drive in it and a huge LCD screen of course it's going to be a little more fragile than your Gameboy or DS. It's catered to the 18 year and older crowd it's not meant to be thrown around by 10 year olds with ice cream on their hands.
Like desperado said welcome to the world of LCD screens. Go look at a thousand LCD computer monitors you'll probably find some dead pixels on them as well. It's just the luck of the draw and they all got exchanges so just a minor inconvenience.
6 hours is pretty reasonable in my opinion for something that fits in my hands and plays games that look almost PS2 quality. I mean who really plays a handheld that long straight anyway? You shouldn't be doing *anything* for six or more straight hours except working or sleeping. And if you're taking it on a long trip buy the brick or get the charger for a car and you're good to go.
And of course my thoughts exactly why even post here. If you don't like the PSP fine don't buy one, but let the rest of us have our handheld gaming goodness in peace. Mkay?]http://www.tothegame.com/psp.asp?sort=title&filter=all[/url]
I`m 14. If I see a single scratch on my PS2 disc, I flip. Could I get one?
I`m a big sports and RPG fan. I think this is my system.
