So let me get this straight... CN ditched all of the rights to the good shows so they could afford the hunks of crap they serve out now?

Yeah I never saw it but heard it was so butchered that ADV didn't want anything to do with the network again. Can anyone clarify I can't find anything.

I don't remember if this was an AS card or just message board talk, but I saw something sounding like Champloo would be returning, presumably with new eps, around November or December (I guess after FMA is done).

I do agree about the classics, though. I know it probably won't happen due to licenses expiring and such, but we can dream. ;)

I don't. If they can show PA close to uncut, then Evangelion shouldn't been too much to edited in it. As a friend has told me, PA is alot wrost then Evangelion is and since they are showing it on AS, then I feel that this will not be the same Eva that some of saw on Toonami.

Remember, this is not the same AS a year ago. They are being more bolder in showing stuff. I think we should just wait and see what happens.

But more or less what mitsuki lover said is true about not giving it time to grow on people.

Well if ya want to get down to the nitty gritty of it. Cowboy Bebop is actually racier than NGE in language and blood, with two episode exceptions. And if they were worried about religious people getting angry. Well Adult Swim has got away with showing Session 23 plenty of times in which a character says God didn't exist. In Gundam Wing on Toonami there was an episode with a reference like that too. Anyway don't want to discuss NGE obviously just pointing out something.

WingZero is right ratings win the day and ya can't blame them. That's why Bebop has been on and off for almost 5 years but still coming back.

Colroful debuts on AU Sat.Aug.13 at 9:00 p.m. PAcific and then repeats on
Mon. at 1:00 a.m. Pacific(probably due to Gphoria?).
Right now I think that they're pounding Gungrave to the ground so it's nearly as
dead as Brandon. It be better if they started Colorful sooner than later.

As far as CN goes,I am eagerly awaiting both Naruto and NGE.Again being a
Dual! fan I can't wait to see how NGE and Dual! compare and contrast.

btw:I wish people would stop saying shows were "crap" before those of us
who haven't seen them have had a chance to view them for ourselves.I for one
would like to make my own opinion about the new shows...thank you very much!

I just watched NGE...and AS is brining to their lineup? *siigh* I wanted to get away from that show...

I think they should take off PA that show is weird..Keep Champloo and Scryed...and bring back FMA but PA isn't the greatest..

HOWEVER, those are just my opinions...

I might have to check out the schedule. I didn't care for NGE the anime (love the manga), but I might give it another shot by watching it on TV, rather than trying to watch five or six episodes in a row and getting burnt out on it. I WAS really impressed by the first few episodes, but fell away after that...I think other things were grabbing my attention.

Granted, I know the anime of NGE probably won't be as good as the manga, but that's pretty standard, and I figure it deserves at least another shot. :D

I looked up some pics of Asuka,Rie and Misato at Anime Galleries Dot Net for my
proposed website. From what I saw I can't wait for AS to start airing NGE.

Okay FMA fans.

FMA should start on Sat, Aug 13th at 11:30, and will be taking SC's slot at that time.

Edit: AS can't make up their mind. No new eps for FMA in Aug.

Too, though, in that state of mind he was portrayed as a wacko. And the episode did have a redemptive ending, with
the character giving God credit for endowing humankind with creativity, once he came into a right state of mind
That said, by some of its comedies recently I feel like AS has shown it doesn't really care too much about what Christian people think.

AS will have a new show coming in a few weeks. It's called the AS lineup merry-go-around show. Each week, they give us a lineup and make us have hope for new eps of a show and then change the lineup back at the last min.

Now for not making a joke about AS and their lineup.

New episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist beginning Saturday, September 17, at midnight.

For right now, FMA will see be showed M-Wed and SC will still be on the Sat lineup for now.

and Neon Genesis Evangelion will start airing on Thursday, October 20, at 12:30 a.m.

Please don't give me a heart attack!
As long as there are still new eps. of Inuyasha to show and as long as
we still have the rest of the movies to go through I doubt that AS would
be so STUPID as to cancel the Mon.-Wed. reruns.
Then again what do I know? :shady:
So at least we know WHEN NGE is coming.

Too bad Champloo's getting the boot. Oh well I just bought volumes 2 and 3 of it today. AS gets a big part of their from Inuyasha. I remember they showed the numbers on TV one night and it beat out Champloo by almost twice the number of viewers. And I remeber another night they sarcastically showed what their lineup would look like if they listened to everything people said and it showed nothing but Inuyasha on it. I can't say I'm too fond of S-cry-Ed seems like a pseudo X-Men rip off to me from the two episodes I've seen.

SC will still be on Sat night, but they will stop at what ep 13?

If I remember, SC hasn't been fully aired on TV in Japan or it is because they haven't fully dub all of the eps for SC now is the reason?

AS can't make up their minds. A few days ago, They had FMA put up in the time slot that Champloo was in on Sat at the lineup schedule, but now it's change back to the way it was. I think someone at AS has been drinking to much sake as of late.

It's probably all those Sesshie fangirls that keep Inuyasha up there.

But seriously,I think if they really wanted to keep the ratings up they'd
show Inuyasha,Cowboy Bebop,Fullmetal Alchemist and FLCL along
with Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex and Wolf's Rain daily.
Oh,yeah and bring back .hack//sign.

I don't understand why they are showing .hack//Legend of the Twilight and Gundam Seed on Friday night at 1am.

Probably because they would have to move Duck Dodgers and Zatch Bell
to get GS and legend on an earlier time slot. :shady:

Very surprised to see them push back FMA to midnight. Do they really think Champloo repeats can pull in better numbers than new eps of FMA? Oh well, it's their network; I do expect to see it back in the 11:30 slot before long, though.

Also a tad surprised to see NGE pushed up to October. Especially before GitS 2nd session? And to see that it's being pushed on a Sunday as much as it is.

And props to Yojimbo... glad to see I'm not the only one who's not quite digging S-cry-ed.

Well, I mean. Why even have Gundam Seed and .hack//Legend of the Twilight on that night for?

I forget that it's on. I just think of Friday as no anime day for CN and forget that those two shows are on at 1am.

Hmmm...good question. In fact the only anime they show now on Fridays is
Zatch Bell,Gundam Seed and .hack//legend.

btw:I checked the schedule for AU and instead of Colorful they will be reairing
Last Exile starting next Tuesday at 1 a.m. Pacific and 4 a.m. Eastern. The late
time slot is because of Gphoria.

Yeah but I'm sure they'll change FMA to that time. Me too I thought it would be a Saturday night thing. I think they're pushing 2nd Gig because the first volume comes out in September and I believe the first volume of SAC came out in August last year so it started a little earlier on the schedule for AS.

It's not neccesarily a bad show. I just don't see any real good qualities to it at all that puts it above any other anime. Especially since anime on AS tends to be in the upper echelon of anime programs. Teenagers, superpowers, bland animation, cheesey dialogue, that's all I've seen so far. I just want a fan of it to tell me what's the big deal?

True... S-cry-ed seems more like Toonami around 2001. Or the current Friday night anime hour.

And glad to see that AU will be rerunning Last Exile. I'd rather they rerun R.O.D., but I missed out on LE as well.

It's been awhile since they last showed Last Exile so it was due. :thumb:
Though I still don't trust their scheduling at AU 100%,it's not like the old
days when you could click on and be certain that what you read was what
was going to be shown. Now they seem to change it around every so often
so that you can't be certain as to what's on.But for now it seems that
they are reshowing LE.We'll know for sure next week.

Ack! Sorry about that. I did an error and forgot to put Fooly Cooly on Sat lineup.

Right now, they show FLCL being on the lineup all this month. It shows that it will start all over again on 8/20 and ep six would run on 9-17. We know that new eps of FMA are going to start that day and I'm hearing that GITS:SAC 2 Gig will start on that day too.

Oh, as for now. No movies are plan for this month. :shady:
