Raiko
FLOW
Spitz (I have their cd Iroirogoromo, and it rocks!)

For pop, I think Utada Hikaru is pretty good. She sounds a lot like Stacie Orrico, imho.

If you want good clean yet imaginative Jpop, I recommend Maaya Sakamoto.

L-Arc-en-Ciel is my fav. JRock band but I would be a little cautious if your parents are exceptionally strict. I can't guarantee that they're completely devoid of any cussing or elements that parents would frown on but overall, it's pretty clean by most standards.

Defenately The Pillows for JRock. For pop T.M. Revolution is good. check out Tofu Records for some more good stuff. Also go here: http://www.projectj.net/ Use discernment though.

No one's mentioned Puffy AmiYumi?

Polysics, Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her, Cibo Matto, The Pebbles, Tommy February6, Guitar Vader, and Shonen Knife are all worth checking out too. (and of course you can't say enough good things about The Pillows)

Mave is right. The lyrics to "Lover Boy" on their smile album would probably make your parents raise an eye brow or two.
As for Porno Graffitti I think the name alone is enough to make your parents through the CD out and at $30 plus shipping I don't think you want "waste" your money like that. From what I've heard they're lyrics aren't bad but their name might set off parent alarms (with good reason -_-'). So yeah...

I like Asian Kung-fu Generation. As far as I know they're lyrics are clean and their album art isn't objectionable... in fact it's rather creative. Hopefully your parents won't mind you listening to them. ^_^
