Kat goes neko!

This probably qualifies more as "furry" art, but I figure since anime started the whole catgirl thing anyway..... :forehead:

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?
- Frank Capra

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Ooo, that's awesome. :wow!: I guess it's hard for cats to find clothes that fit. ;) It's really good, Kat. :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

interesting... a bit more clothes please? even if it is a cat person

Jeez, take it easy. It's not like she's wearing some skimpy bikini. :stressed: She's not even my character, so I'm not to blame for whatever she wears. Drawing a cat person with a revealed midriff does not make me one of those screwed-in-the-head yiffy artists, if that's what you're thinking. >_>

And thanks for the compliments everyone! ^^;

I wouldn't think that. I'd love to see more of your cats, or anything you draw. You're really awesome!

sorry, i meant the lower body. i was rather in a hurry because my niisan was bugging me to get off the computer so that he could use it. he was standing right behind me too. >.<*-annoying big brother... and i wanted to make a last post and that was what i sorta first noticed...

reevaluation: hmm... you got really good proportion and perspective (from what i see...) and since you're site is being updated, i cant find more of your art.(found it by taking out the "lucia.htm" bit in your picture link) post more art, please!! gomenasai if i judged you from that first one!!

well, anonymous, you're not the only one. Kat, I personally think your artwork is absolutely gorgeous and don't have anything to say for improvement (it's good enough for me!) But I will be honest, I was distracted a little coz despite being a cat person, the character still had a body that looks like a woman's.... haha :brow:
