Music Help

Postby Anison Twilight » Fri Jul 08, 2005 8:06 am

Well I want to find some new groups to listen to. I hate rap, but I love Rock. My favorite groups right now are Reliant K, Flogging Molly, and Yellowcard. I really need to find some new stuff, so can you help me?

Stipulations:
1. I don't want any cussing in the lyrics even if they're quick and hard to catch. Don't care. Don't want that.
2. I'd prefer some rock groups, but I'll take folkish too. My dad's a big Jim Croche fan and that's influenced my musical tastes a bit.

And if you could post a website or somewhere where I could hear one of their songs it would be awesome.

Try the new MXPX album. It's supposed to be really good. Also, for more pop-punk, I'd recommend the band Roper. It's a lot of fun, their CD is good.

As for folk, definitely look into Sufjan Stevens. He's quite brilliant.

Note, requires winamp or realplayer or quicktime or something like that. Some people out there still lack up-to-date, stream-compatable players... --;
