Sparrowhawk wrote:Thanks for the clarification. I'm currently playing seven (I knew it was seven, i did not know there was an eight in America) and it is my favorite turn based strategy (Advance Wars is a close 2nd but then I have only played 4 of this genre). Anyway, what are the others like? Are they strategy, rpg, or something else?

MasterDias wrote:I'm currently enjoying "The Sacred Stones" myself. Pegusus Knights rock...
yeah, but wasn`t that in FFT if you didn`t revive them....
No clue about FFTA.
mastersquirrel wrote:So, MasterDias, how many of the games you listed are actually in the US? It stinks that they haven't released 6 here. I want to know what happens!!
Oh, another question, does every game have a "Fire Emblem" in it? Is that how they are all connected?
Only in these certain areas. Couldn't remember what they were called, something starting with a "J". Anyways, Fire Emblem seems better to me than FFTA because everything in it moves alot faster. Alot faster. Plus, you don't have to wait in fear on FE of enemies coming up and striking a character in the back, which does like double the damage. XP
I was stuck on the chaoter where you had to protect the prince in the castle with Jafaar.
Yeah, in Blazing Swords (The initials are BS, HAAHAAHAHAHA!) Pegasus Knights stink. Are they better in Shining Stones?
I`ve asked the question before, but heck i`ll repeat it. is the Shining stones called:
"Fire Emblem: The Shining Stones"
or
"Fire Emblem" ?
i only say that because "Blazing Swords" was just called "Fire Emblem." Was that because it was the first to hit America?
However, in the "lawless" areas (they had a name that escapes me at the moment), there were no Judges, and if a character was reduced to zero HP in these areas, they would die if they were not revived before the fight was over.
To get back on topic, I was thinking about getting Sacred Stones in the near future...though I'm a perfectionist, so the permanent death thing doesn't sit well with me...I would totally reset the game if a character died. ^^;;

Lyren wrote:Oh and level ups aren't totally random since everyone has growth rates (but the radom aspect of them can be very annoying indeed).
Ky Kiske wrote:I think the best is Berserker because they can overwhelm just about anything with a critical hit and besides they look awesome.
Tom Dincht wrote:As for the gameplay, restarting everytime a character falls is VERY annoying.
Tom Dincht wrote:How are the graphics for Shining Stones? I`m assumming outrageously similar to "Blazing Swords". This game would rock with Gamecube graphics......
mastersquirrel wrote:Since when were the level ups random? Everyone has to reach 100 experience to level up. They gain experience by fighting enemies. I just don't see the random aspect.
