I saw it! It was really cute and upbeat! And all of the movie references were fun. I caught:

1. Castaway
2. Planet of the Apes
3. Chariots of Fire
4. American Beauty

...and that's all that I can remember at the moment. Can anybody remember any others?

It was quite amusing.

Letting you know, there's nothing at the end, no bloopers or anything, so don't stick around if you like to wait for that kind of thing. However, they do dance for most of the credits, and that's worth seeing.

Overall, Alex was immensely fuzzy, I'm never looking at penguins the same way again, and Melman acts like my mother...

One question: What are the Foosa? Are they small lions or something...? :?:
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I almost wanted to see this (huge animation fan; I love seeing CG movies) but the animation quality looks so poor for the standards now. I mean, it's like they were saying "Well, we did release Shrek but we spent so much time and money on THOSE graphics that this one got shafted. We hope you'll see it cause we said Shrek." Seriously, it's several years behind standard-wise...and I suppose it could be chalked up to style, but that's a really terrible style to go for, if you ask me.

Ah, I didn't like it that much. It was OKAY, but not excellent. Just...kind of predictable. It was like they decided, if you pack enough famous voice actors in there, everyone will love it! Bleh.
Think happy thoughts.

I thought about seeing this movie for the humor and I don`t give a crap how bad the animation is. Jokes are of most importance.

It was a complete waste of my time. There were maybe two funny parts, but the rest was lame. What was the point of the movie anyway??
