Greetings everyone!
Just wanted to drop in along with the other noobies and say hello. Looks like a great community here and I hope my status as a n00b will fade as I start posting with you guys.

That'd be Ruriko Ikusawa from Gatekeepers, my favorite anime character of all time.

I've only seen Gatekeepers 21.How different is the original Gatekeepers
series?

Thanks for the greetings everyone! So far everybody's been nice to me on the forums and it looks like I'm a little more comfortable here the first day. It's not so common to find a "Christian + Anime" site and it's good that I found this one.
It's very different in terms of setting and mood. The characters are a little bit more optimistic than the ones in GK21 and most of the Invaders in GK are still bad, but not "evil" in the sense of them being morally-lost individuals. Basically it's nicer than the OVA as there is plenty of comedy and relationships in the series. Plus it's about 18 episodes longer than the sequel, so there should be a little bit more character development over that span.
I like Gatekeepers because it's more energetic and fun to watch while I like GK21 because of it's inverse atmosphere and style of animation (which were done by the same crew of the original).
