For all my fellow Sailor Moon fans (and those of you interested in learning more about Japanese culture), a new book has been released today called "Warriors of Legend: Reflections of Japan in Sailor Moon." The book is supposed to offer an introduction to real-life Japanese culture through themes and scenes found in Sailor Moon. The concept is a little weird, I have to admit, especially since so many anime shows can be used in the same way to teach about the culture, but for us Sailor Moon fans, this could be a good thing.
Has anyone else heard about it or ordered it yet? Oh, and here's the website:

On the site, there's some sample sections from the book to read, and they seemed interesting when I skimmed them. The book sounds essay-like, which some of you may not like (but it's something that I would enjoy, being the research nut that I am

).
I went ahead and ordered the book, so that I can check it out. If it turns out to be a really good book, I'll let y'all know!
