*nodnod* she's dead and burnt to ashes.... ^^;

:o ....:o ....:o ....:( ....:sniffle: ....:waah!: :waah!: Why? WHY DID YOU KILL HER?!

I'm going to have to seriously reconsider reading through this.

*walks away and pouts*

...
...
...

Okay, I'm better now. ^______^ So wow, you killed my favorite character. That hasn't happened before in a story I've read. I guess I'll have to live with it. I hope it was worth it.:eyebrow:

Thank you for the Mir explanation.

*sniffs* I :sniffle: need to be alone.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

This is worst than what happened to Sirius Black in "The Order of the Phoenix".
Oh well, it's a bit different and could make things interesting.

well that is basically what stories do don't they? Manipulate the person to feel happy about the characters or care about what happens to the fictional people.

Books truly are evil things aren't they XD jk...

Only when the characters are sympathetic. Also, not all authors specifically take pleasure from doing this.

Kneko, I know you aren't truly morbid or violent. ;) I found this a bit hilarious:

 Do you also play GTA? ;)

I'm confused and I'm taking this off topic, but what do you mean by "not all authors take pleasure in this?"

Do you mean they do not take pleasure in manipulating feelings? Or, do you mean they do not take pleasure in the writing process of making sympathetic characters to abuse? I'm sorry, my dumbness prevails.

Thanks for the explanation, Kneko. And, now that I read my question over, it wasn't meant in a mean way at all. It was just my curiousity and misunderstanding, Kaori.

Also, I kind of enjoy manipulating people's feelings with my writing, but more in a good way. Like, I enjoy if they come away happy, or have a good cry when perhaps I cried after writing something.

>.> <.< I'm not allowed to play gta... although I'm sure its fun.

I was joking, moreso, than anything else. However, it's good you don't play this evil-too-fun-to-be-so-bad game. XDD

I envy your talent. It has just gotten better and better. Everytime I think I can predict what will happen next, you surprise me. The grammatical errors, I don't notice them. The story line is too good! *waits somewhat impatiently for the next chapter* :thumb:

oh and a wise from the wise, edit your posts instead of just posting again. Its easier to do, easier to read, and less confusing :thumb: Once again, thank you so much for reading! I continue to work! But beware I am a slow updater... >.>

No I don't write any stories, just read them. I might try doing a short story or something in the future though. I draw but I don't have a scanner so I can't post. And forgive me for asking this, I'm not one to catch on to things quickly, but what exactly do you mean by editing my posts? I'll be happy to do it to make my posts more clear, I'm just not sure what you're talking about. The edit button in the corner possibly? (Nevermind. I think I've figured it out. Thank you anyway)

XD yes the edit button in the corner....

hmm... I haven't been living in the good-off section much lately...This is my story circle! There we go! Located scenically right outside my goof-off forum. XD

hmm getting cut with a dull knife would hurt more... once when I was playing a game of Mafia with my friends (which I ironically learned at Sunday School XD) the way I died was by having my head cut off with a spoon o.< owwwie...
Well I'm on a 10 hr drive to St. Louis so I'll try to type a little. And for those who don't know, Mafia is a game where everyone is townspeople, one is a mafia and one is a detective. Every night everyone goes to sleep and the mafia wakes up and chooses the person they're gonna kill. Then the detective wakes up and points at someone to guess if they're the mafia. Then everyone wakes up and the narrator announces who was killed and makes up a story about it. That person is out of the game and the rest of the town holds a trial, eventually voting someone guilty and killing them. If the detective finds out who the mafia is, he can tell the townspeople, but its always more fun to play with two mafia so the detective can't come right out and say who the mafia is or he'll get killed. Its a very very fun game! Our Sunday school teacher was an awesom story-maker-uper for the people who got killed.

We played Mafia at a lock-in the other night, but we did it where Jeremy, one of the youth leaders, would call out someone's name, and the Mafia members would raise their hands if they wanted to kill them or not.
Anyhoo, everytime a name was called, one guy, Caleb, kept calling out "Kill 'em!" in this very strange yet hilarious little voice, unless it was someone he didn't want to be killed, to which he said "I like [insert name]" in the same voice. It was the funniest thing that night, especially when Jeremy got to Josh, this really annoying guy that was there, only to here "Kill 'em!!!" shouted out.
Strangely enough, he was not one of the Mafia, nor, I believe, was he killed...

Recovery

Postby Kawaiikneko » Fri Jun 10, 2005 2:28 pm

A musky haze hovered above the remains of the town, choking Cree’s dry throat and stinging her eyes as she blinked herself back to consciousness. Slowly she sat up, hugging her right arm to her chest.

Dirt-covered survivors milled around in an aimless, busy way, avoiding the place where Cree sat. As she pushed herself to her feet, Cree noticed a few glares cast her way when people thought she wasn’t looking. Cree stumbled through the crowd as a path cleared for her. Every person Cree passed seemed to be trying to ignore that she was there while still attempting to stay out of her way.

Near the center of what was left of the town, Cree saw what had to be a healing station. Head down, she shuffled over to the end of the line in hopes of getting her arm healed.

When Cree got to the front of the line, a sleep deprived young healer turned towards her, mumbling something along the lines of “where does it hurt the most.â€

Update, even though its sorta small >.> Sorry....

Before I'm asked, I'm gonna mention to keep in mind that Phyr has a mentality of a little kid and her only real possession is Kiryn, not to mention that she considers Kiryn an equal friend to Cree. Alright, read onward ^^ I'll try to type the next part faster.

Edit: Oh and don't worry I'm pretty much finished torturing Cree XD
