OFFICIAL INFO FROM NINTENDO.COM

"When an evil shadow stretches from the heart of Hyrule to its peaceful borderlands, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero ... and the animal ... within.

Features

•When Link travels to the darkened land of Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious being named Midna.

•Ride into battle against troops of foul creatures, using an incredible horseback combat system, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed.

•Many puzzles stand between Link and the fulfillment of his quest, so players must sharpen their wits as they hunt for weapons and items.

•Characters include Link, Zelda, Midna and many others, both new and old.

Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free, and with the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows.

Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he’ll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he’ll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna’s magic to bring light to the land.

Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old. "

I haven't seen the trailer, but this does so amazing. The whole entering the dark world and becoming a wolf sounds familiar (Link to the Past), but pretty interesting in my opinion.

I hate the whole wolf idea thing; but I also hated lots of the race-changing that went on in Majora's Mask> Guess it's just a pet peeve of mine. I do like how it's a love child of Ocarina and Windwaker.

[quote="Ashley"]I hate the whole wolf idea thing]

The good thing is though that you will only have to be a wolf in the Twilight Realm.

But i think being a wolf would be awsome!

Also... I think MIDNA could be Zelda. Zelda already has transformed into Sheik... and was in Disguise as Tetra... could she have gone under a similar transformation in the Twilight Realm the same as Link (turning into a wolf)???

Turning into a wolf doesn't seem very 'Zeldaish', but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It looks like the game's going to be too awesome to even matter anyways.

I think it looks absolutely, completely AWESOME!! Can't wait! But, Nintendo will probably end up post-poning it a little later, like they always do...

As for the ideas on who Zelda is, it's possible that Midna( who looks really creepy in a cool way) could be her, but I seriously think she could be the figure in the black robe. Of course, this could also be the bad guy, but I think Zelda is a possible identity because of the character on the back of the robe. Did anyone else notice that it was the single eye with a tear, the symbol of the Sheikah? We all know that Zelda impersonated a Sheikah before, so this could have a similar connection.

FIRST:

Azier the Swordsman wrote:Turning into a wolf doesn't seem very 'Zeldaish', but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It looks like the game's going to be too awesome to even matter anyways.

Actually it is Quite Zeldaish:

A link to the past: Link had that Rabit-esque Shape when he went into the dark world.
Oracle of Ages/Seasons: Certain Rings allowed you to change Link's Form.
Majora's mask implemented Shape Shifting LINK... Goron LInk, Zora Link, Deku Link... etc...
Windwaker: (this is a stretch but) Link takes possesion of other bodies Makar, etc. He really didnt change shape, but he was "being" them in a way.

And you'll only have to be a wolf in the TWILIGHT REALM... so there shall be mucho LINK-FIGHTING-ON-HORSE action!!!

SECOND:

Haru_bay_nay, they have already changed the date from ETA Spring to June 1st then NOW to HOLIDAY 2005!!! Thus the GREAT NINTENDO Pushing of games begins!

I am inclined to believe Zelda is the figure in the hood. Anyone else remember the Windwaker TV commercials that featured a girl in a hood talking about how this great hero was coming "to save.....me." We never saw ANY of that in Windwaker. So I for one am inclined to believe maybe they're salvaging this idea for TP. Haha, it's initials are TP. Anyway...

I think Midna could be either an interpretation of Impa, or maybe something along the lines of the skull kid in Majora's Mask.

I don't think you can do it when you want to. It's when you enter the Twilight Realm. in MM, you had the masks that let you change... but i dont think you get a wolf mask... i think once you leave the Twilight Realm you become human... or something along those lines.

Actually, i think the hoodie zelda commercial was for the Oracle of Ages/Seasons games... And Yes, the girl in the hood is Zelda, chek the Symbol on the back of her cloak... it's the Sheikah Emblem from OoT. And i also know she is Zelda from my various sources.

P.S. CHEK my Profile Pic, and you shall see why It must be Zelda in the cloak!

So, this the game that looked like it was going to be war......i had a feeling it was too good to be true...this game looks disapointing compared to what i thought it to be.

I thought it was going to be like a 30-year-old Link in a T-rated War/Dungeon Crawling game.

Instead it looks like a 16-year-old Peter Pan wanabe who transforms into a wolf.......
not even a werewolf that is big and musclear, but a normal wolf......

Then again, I don`t like Zelda that much anyways....i expeced a let down.

Okay, Mr. Dincht, you've ofificially begun to make me mad.
First, the adult Link everyone wanted to see was around 16 in the first place, and the green attire is his trademark. (Look closely. He wears chainmail under it in this game!)
Second, you have no evidence it won't be rated Teen. So far, it looks pretty dark, and could very well be rated Teen.
Finally, Zelda was never meant to be a war/dungeon crawler. It was meant to be an epic adventure game with clever dungeons and lots of battles.
Good day to you, sir.
