No it was released in the U.S. first and then when they released it in Japan and made Final Mix in which I knew about as well as all those things you rambled about. I do research as well. i`m pretty sure the Organization member you fight is Marluxia because he`s the same one who (spoiler tag please work)
No your spoiler tag didn't work, but if it was Marluxia why didn't he use his weapon thingy? I don't think it was him, i think that there are more members of the Organization, for onr thing the Deap Dive traylor shows, The glowinig eye unknown, the dule weilder unknown, and the rock sitting unknown, you have no idea who they are, Now the unknown you fight says to Sora "You look just like him" And the rock sitting unknown says the same thing to the glowing eye unknown

I wish they had released that in the US too.
Yeah I got the feeling that the organization is much larger then what we see in Chain of memories and that perhaps there are even more factions.I'm sure we will be meeting many more members then we have.
The Blond Haired Kid looks a lot ike Sora, so i'm thiking it's him. What i wana know is why The BHK had the Oathkeeper and Oblivien? I don't think that Sora would ever give the Oathkeeper to any one.

I heard the blonde haired kid knows Sora somehow and he's in Twillight town. I can't wait to play the game. Ever since I saw Deep Dive I've been impatently waiting. I have so many questions I want answers for.

I think The BHK is the light side of Sora and Sora relies on dark powers for good like Riku which could explain his new black wardrobe.

Or maybe he just got sick of the clothes he had....I sure did.

Whoa. I'm confused now.
One thing I wonder about is who the heck DiZ is. If you played through Riku's story on CoM, you'll know who I'm talking about. It appears he's the bad guy on KH2 and also seems to be the leader of the Organization, though I don't know for sure...

I had a wild thought that DiZ is like, Walt Disney himself, but that would just be kinda wierd. o.O

I remeber him from Chain of Memories. I couldn't figure out weather he was good or evil.
It seemed to me that he was trying to get Riku to choose to have Ansem sealed away. Which would free Riku from the Darkness. And he seemed a bit irritated that Riku choose to walk between. I'm not even certain if the organization is bad or if its different factions that just are. hmm[/spoler]

What I meant was that BHK would be like the Light Keybladce weilder and Sora would be a mixture. Antisora was never explained from KH1...

Antisora was never explained from KH1...

Was that the one on the pirate ship? If it was, I think that was just a take off from Peter Pan having to chase after his own shadow from the movie.

But yeah, DiZ is still one of the biggest mysteries to me. Hmm, I still haven't played the original...

I didn't get that feeling. becasuse in chain of memories they said something like he smelled like Ansem but different. Plus he seemes to want to seal Ansem away. I don't think he is Ansem.

He's not Ansem. In CoM he was disguised as Ansem in one part, which would make no sense if he was Ansem. Like kazekami said, Riku noted hs smell was different at that part.

So I smell different after bathing. Maybe Ansem bathed.

No I don`t think it was Ansem. On that site its highly believed though.

Isn`t the main bad guy in the KH series the Superior? (aka leader of Organazation)

It seemed to me that in Castle Oblivion mnay of the orginization were imitatng others. DIZ only pretended to be Ansem. Why would he want ansem sealed away forever if he was Ansem. Becaseu that is what he wasnted Riku to do.

It kinda sound like DiZ is the superior. I wouldn't be surprised, but finding out who he really is could be something no one expects.
Just who the Organization is and what they do is still unknown. All we know is Marluxia wanted to overthrow them and Axel was either A) an extreme loyalists to the Organization or B) someone who has their own plans for the Organization.
Ansem probably got in their way somehow or it could be that he had to be sealed for Riku to gain "true power" or something. I mean, technically Ansem is still inside Riku, right? He just can't get out now.

It`s so unreaistic though. DiZ just stands there and invites Sora into the world instead of jst killing him. Then again, it was geared towards little kids and has gotten alot of them into FF games as well.

Well DIZ is the head of the orginaization. I think that Axel has his own agenda. If Riku would have had ansem sealed he would have forgoten everything. And the world would be free of Ansem. I am wondering just exactly what is this orginaization? What is their purpose? Seems to me that they need the keyblade master which is why DIZ just lets him through. There is a lot of stuff going on here.

I herd this game is a series like FF, except the producer and director ( who designes the characters for FF games, Nomura) said it wouldn`t last forever and the end was planned out. it is expected to at least contain 5 games. I`m not sure if they`re including sidegames like CoM.

Guys I think I have a pretty good idea when the released date is. I pre-orderd my copy a couple days ago and its sposed to ship on December 1st.

Also FFXII is the same day, but I don't have that pre-ordered yet. I'll get FFXII later after i get KH2 outta my system :P.

If you want to know I got my copy at http://www.ebgames.com

I got the cheapest shipping method of $1.99 and it'll come to my house ^.^. I so can't wait =D.

As for the continuance of the series?...I think 2 will be far enough, but I would for sure love to see a series made out of it ^^. We'll just have to wait FOREVER to get a good final ending lol.

Don't believe release dates given by online websites, especially considering that the release dates of FFXII and KH2 have not even been given by Square-Enix. The employees of these stores tend to enter random dates into their database whether they know anything about it or not.
They won't be releasing two major titles in the same month anyway. That hurts sales.

And finally here is some information released in an interview with Nomura this month:

- Sora's visits to netherworlds will be a core part of the game, Hades' world is the main underworld but many other worlds have netherworlds too

- Pete's involvement in the game is directly related to him being Mickey's rival and he's not limited to any one world

- Mulan will be the first world visited in KH2

- There will be combination attacks that appear on the menu if the distance and timing between characters and enemies is right, one of which is a Sora + Auron attack

- The recording for voices is done during development, so they're doing post-recording to fix things that have changed now

- The recording for each actual Disney world has been completed

- KH2 will conclude the storyline about Sora's involvement with the guys in black coats

- KH2's dialogue script is 2.5 times the size of KH's

- Motion capturing is awesome and every movement is unique

- There will be an awesome variation in combination attacks

- It is undecided if they'll be releasing it on 1 or more DVDs just yet

In addition, Nomura confirmed that there are 13 members of the organization, some who have yet to be revealed.

You know, I need to get around to finishing CoM.

Yay some good news ^^. This is what Ansem Report has to say.

Playing Catch Up

Author: Mera'din
Posted: 05/05 01:41 AM

Just some quick news updates for those still not in the know. Square-Enix finally opened the doors on its KH2 website a few days ago. The big selling point being the fact that it contains the 'fabled' Jump Festa trailer that had not yet been leaked over the net. You view the site (and trailer) here: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom2

In other news, it seems that there is now a Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game in Japan (which apparently came out backin Nov. along with Chain of Memories so I guess it's old news). Still quite exciting though. I for one am very hopeful about this, and can only dream that it will be brought oversea's. Unfortunately, I have lost the URL for the official site, but if anyone has it feel free to post a comment with the link.

That's about it for the overall "catch up" on news, but expect lots more to come as E3 looms closer and closer.

EDIT: Got ahold of the URL again. Thanks to Nox for digging it up for me. There's a few images and such on the site to check out the cards. http://www.tomy.co.jp/kingdomhearts/index.asp

Any help in translating information to find out more about the game would be greatly appreciated. Contact me on the Board, or via e-mail at: meradin@ansemreport.com if you have translations or information of the card game.

Link to Official Site: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom2/ <== I think the trailor is the first selection, but i'm tryin to find out by trial-and-error. I'll let you know soon enough ^.^

Chain of Memories European Release

Chain of Memories will finally be available in Europe tomorrow! (May 6th...I know it's old, but so you know ^^)

In addition to the Chain of Memories release, Nintendo is releasing a special "Game Boy Advance SP Kingdom Hearts Edition Pak", which comes with a copy of the European CoM, and a silver and black styled GBA SP with the Kingdom Hearts logo on the cover.

Now the Interview:

New Interview

Author: Shammy
Posted: 05/04 04:23 PM

The nice people over at Ign just put up a New Kingdom Hearts 2 completion interview. This latest passage was published in the most recent issue of "Dorimaga" a popular japanese gaming magazine.

Quote:
The main focus of the interview is Kingdom Hearts II. Recently, Square Enix opened up an official Japanese website for the game following months of silence. This was followed by feature articles posted in Japan's largest game publications. Could a release date at last be nearing for the sequel?

"Yes, a release is indeed approaching. The announcement of Kingdom Hearts II was actually too early." Nomura states in response to a question about the lack of information on the game. "It's not that delayed development has caused a delay in the release. Recently, a debut period has come into sight, and so we've started to release information."

Commenting on the current state of the game, Nomura reveals that the scenario is now complete. Voice recording has also finished, save for some fine tuning. The title isn't 100% complete, though, with Nomura revealing, "We're currently finishing up the main story -- the scenario featuring Sora and the black coated characters."

You may be bummed about the wait for Kingdom Hearts II, but based on Nomura's comments, there's a lot to look forward to. Asked about how much volume we can expect from the sequel, he responds, "Quite a bit. The volume of the story alone is about 2.5 times that of the original."

There's also quite a bit going into the animation data for the game. "For instance," explains Nomura, "when in Brave Form with red clothing and when in standard form with black clothing, the motion is completely different. This is, of course, true when fighting, but also when running. The motion for walking is about all that's shared. Of course, there are other forms besides black and red.

"Nomura suggests, perhaps jokingly, that the game may actually take up more than one DVD."

Enjoy!

That's all I have for now. I'll let you know of any more updates.
