Lumines (Yup, I got a PSP)

Well folks, I finally got myself a PSP about eight hours ago and so far this is the coolest little handheld device I have ever touched. Turning on and seeing that screen for the first time is an awe-inspiring second.

Unfortunately, after that "awe-inspiring second" I noticed an iffy pixel. It is one that has frozen green in the very very bottom left corner, followed by one that continues to shine a few pixels above.

Am I going to return the system? Nah. It's actually not as big as a deal as I thought, even though I am a major detail freak. And I barely notice it while playing seemingly the greatest puzzle game since Tetris....

LUMINES!

Like the PSP, Lumines is awesomely stylish and sleek in presentation. Under the hood, this is a deep and charming Tetris-like experience. Which, I absolutely dig, because it has be several years since I have had a decent (at the best) “pick-up and playâ€

i didnt get lumines as my first game, got wipeout pure, wich is fun but so insanely hard at later levels its frustrating (think fzero supercharged) im greatly considering getting lumines or dynasty warriors, wish i could play them before hand but i cant so i may go with the cheaper one. oh and about the dead pixel thing, take it back if its a problem but if its at the corner of the screen i would ignore it.

so link would you suggest lumines to me?

they wont unless they come out with a less deluxe pack. which i heard they are going to do and are realeasing sometime. supposedly 200 dollars...yeah i dont see the price going down since sony looses money on the psp due to the cost of parts vs sales cost

Nah, it's fine. Doesn't seem to be a bother at all, but I still have 20 days to decide otherwise.

Played the other Dynasty Warrior games? Not much new, except a lot of loading times and lesser variety. Doesn't seem to be worth the steep $49.99, right now. I'd wait for the price to drop or a more updated version to come.

As for Lumines, depends on if you want a new puzzle game. If yes, buy it. NOW. If you are iffy about puzzle games, the $39.99 is kinda’ pricey.

The game has a lot of variety compared to other puzzle games, which makes it a great “on the goâ€

wipeout looks better but it only has (at the moment) like 6 or 8 racers (the game will have about 40 some mb of downloadable content) and the other gripe i have about it is how hard it gets later on.
