What is your favourite place in Australia? Canberra. Its so beautiful, and it sometimes snows!!! (and I was born there)

YEs. I've also seen wild kangaroos, koalas, emus, galahs, etc. Almost every single Aussie animal save the Tassie devil, platypus and echidna. (and snakes... *shudder*)

Ok, no I've never been to a Planetshakers concert (I dont really like concerts... to crowded). I haven't the foggiest what Grampians is like, but I think I'd rather go to the Canberra zoo cause you get to pet the cheetahs.

I've had it for awhile, and didnt know what it came from until a month or so ago. Apparently its from something called "Y's"

Poor Sayid. Hitchhiker's Guide are a great trilogy of four. Isn't Red Dwarf like a more adult concept version of it?

Red Dwarf is slightly different. I've seen a few episodes, and the cat is my fav character, followed very closely by the main character [spoiler](the one who is actually alive)[/spoiler]

'tis Alan Rickman (who will always be Snape in my eyes) playing the voice of Marvin, I'm so happy they managed to get him!

I don't mind the movie design for him, but then again, I never really have strong mental images of the characters whenever I'm reading a book. At the very least, I think that he will be very good at looking very sad/pathetic/morose/any other word for depressed, what with those huge eyes

What are your favorite parts/lines from the Hitchhiker's Guide? I've actually only read to the halfway point in the third book, but I love the chapter with the chesterfield chasing scene. I was also pretty giddy over the Guide entries on the art of flying and the Great Circling poets of Arium, as well as Number Two's fighting behavior. It's so hard to pick though, the whole thing is pretty consistently funny and bizzare

'eh' isn't actually limited to Canada. NEw Zealanders say it alot, and since I have Kiwi relations, I say it as well. And yes, I have an Australian accent (atleast I think I do... when i lived in the states they said I did). Actually, my 'accent' is very strange, cause I've lived all over the place (dad in defence force = moving around alot). HEnce, I have mixtures of South Australian, Queensland, NSW, Kiwi and American. (not much american anymore... I just say 'trash' instead of 'garbage bin' )

Yes, one older brother. He is older by two years, and he has a job at a calling centre.

I love James Herriot too! I love the story with him and the kid who loved birds but had asthma and that beautiful ending. I dont want to give the ending away in case you haven't read that book yet. ^_^ Can't remember which one it was in though. Frank.E.Perreti, yeah, he wrote those really cool book... 'This Present Darkness' series, right? Those were thrilling. O_O If you like James Herriot, you might want to try 'My family and other animals', 'A zoo in my luggage', 'Rosie is my relative' and others -they're written by Gerald Durrel, only I'm not sure about the spelling of his name so you might want to search by those titles. Another one of his books might've been 'Friends and Friendly Beasts'. It's like James Herriot's novels, and exceptionally funny and heart-warming. What sort of stories does Ted Dekker write? I really like Lawhead's writing too.

Yeah, we kiwis say 'eh' a lot, eh? ^_^ Like the French put 'hein?' at the end of their sentences to mean the same thing. Though strewth is definitely just Australian.

Actually, I dont think I've ever read that story before. My fav stories (there are so many!) either involve cats, dogs, Tristan or Seigfreid

Ted Dekker writes tonnes of different stories. I really liked his Circle trilogy (Black, Red, White). All his books differ so much that its really hard to put a box round him

I've only been to 4: Wonderland, Dreamworld, Movie world and Sea World. I think my fav would be Dreamland, but I havent been there since I was really really young though

I can vaguely remember that, I think; but I read the books a while ago so I don't know if I read that exact book or not. I think I liked the one about him taking the cattle overseas though.

Go All-blacks! I can't remember what it is, but I think it's the regional teams (like the Auckland Blues. -Um... whoot?) from NZ that seem to suffer during those rugby matches. But the international one we seem to do all right. Possibly because a lot of Tongans, Samoans, and other well-built Pacific Islanders swell our ranks. ^_^ Something like that anyway. I generally keep quiet on the whole rugby team unless the NZ team wins and then I get all happy like everyone else. ^_^ Other than that, I guess I don't take much interest in rugby -although I find it a far more exciting game than heaps of others on TV to watch. I mean... cricket. If it's a slow game, it's practically unbearable for me to watch. -__-
Heh heh; I prefer the Kwassie accent myself. I just think it's fun to listen to other people's accents, since I'm immune to the strangeness of the kiwi accent. I also really like other languages -be they different sounding English accents, or French accents and French words, or Chinese... etc.

I don't like cricket either, unless it is one day But I'd say that Rugby is my favourite game to watch definitely. Though the scrums get annoying (esp since they are so stinking purposeless!!!)

hmmmm I don't really know. Probably Duo or Zechs from Gundam Wing; Duo cause he looks cool, is really funny and has a detailed history. Zechs cause... well... he looks cool!

Anyway, I used to be very very anti-rock. I guess my tastes just changed when I grew older. I don't really know why it is popular, except maybe that it makes good listening to when you are angry or excited. With alot of rebellious teens out tere, I'd say that many of them would turn to rock music when their parents are "getting on their backs".

I like listening to music when coming up with ideas for a manga I might be doing. Of course, different music = different types of ideas. I listen to rock if I want to come up with a fight scene, but softer music for everything else (and really lubby-dubby slow music for touching scenes).

If you think about it, it would be extremely hard to come up with a romantic scene with POD or Thousand Foot Krutch blaring into your ear eh? You'd probably end up with someone slapping the other, or a cat fight ensuing. However, if you listen to slow soppy music while coming up with a fight scene, almost everyone dies!!

lol, I can do almost anything with dance music playing, any scene in my manga, music just doesn't seem to affect me as much, but I see what you're saying, I'll agree. You know, maybe rave or techno hardcore might work for a fighting scene, lol. Thing is, all psychologists say that rock is bad for you, it sorta messes up you nervous system. There was an expirement where a group of rats listened to classical music (nothing happened) and another group listened to rock. The ones who listened to rock killed each other.
