Interesting.

Either way, though, Lara Croft ain't exactly a modest sort of gal.

Me too. Angelina Jolie looked was the perfect role for the movie. She would`ve made a better Trinity in The Matrix (my opnion).

*holds up five fingers* I vote number three, sir! -Sorry, I watched Shrek, yesterday. :D

Anyways, I'm with you on the changes, Volt. Although, I like her hair in the first picture (might be a good temporary change for a urban environment), it doesn't fit the Tomb Raider style. She looks to much like a James Bond girl or something.

As for the hands, I think they are bigger because it's on the PSP. Although, the PSP is a powerful system, I'm guessing it couldn't handle detail that small in an action game. *shrugs*

True, the marketing device of a ‘sexy woman and action’ was not pioneered by Tomb Raider, but it does a good job embodying the idea.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Um. . . on this matter I disagree, ha ha, I think Carrie-Ann Moss was great in that roll just because she's not as strikingly pretty, I think if Angelina was Trinity the character would have just turned into a pretty girl, ha ha. Plus I don't think the whole British accent would really jive, ya know? Anyways, just my two bits.

That's great Volt! Strange how they can't even keep the consistency of Lara.

I have Tomb Raider 1/Gold, 2/Gold and The Last Revelation (Tomb Raider 4?)
They are quite good games and unlike the advertisments they don't exploit Lara's sexuality. Some of the puzzles are pretty difficult to work out though.

Personally, I actually like the newer model of Lara than the old ones... main reason, proportions! The older versions had her chest almost as large as the rest of her body!
Also, I like the shorter hair! What's wrong with the cool fringe? And her face! It's not 'Fat', its pretty!

My only complaint with the new official Lara is her pant length.
Does anyone else share my view?

Yes, I think its high time miss Croft stopped shopping in the kiddy section… Then maybe she will find cloths that fit correctly. However, with the way fasion is today, that may still not be possible. O_o

Me me me! XD; I've never been much of a Tomb Raider fan, but I don't think this version of Lara is bad at all. Adjust the pants and the shirt length and she'd look just fine.

Jolie cannot act her way out of a wet paper bag. I am glad they used Moss.

On the topic of Croft, I hated the games. I found them to be medicore at most...feeding off guys who wanted to watch a pixil girl bounce around. The camera angels were horrendous...and the game focused way to hard on Laras butt over you know, like the jungle or whatever around her. Blah I say.

Tomb Raider III was fun... Not to mention it's the only Tomb Raider game I had for a long time then I got the Last Revelation for Christmas when we still celebrated it.

Yeah, I agree with Kaji...something needs to be done to Lara Croft's torso. I say we stick her in a barrel or something.

You know, I never really had any desire to play any of these games. Although, that's prolly because of the way it's advertised.... Anytime a game tries to use sex to sell itself it makes me wonder about the gameplay. I mean, why do they need to use sex to sell it if the gameplay is good?

Oh, right, back on topic.

I like the changes you made, volt. I've never really understood what went wrong when the character model for the main character looks lame. To me, I would think that they would want to spend alot of time on that, because it's what you'll be staring at for a majority of the game.

I think your on to the kind of change this series needs to get back on its feet. Mix the new (barrel) wardrobe with some other popular video game characters and your on your way.

I can see it now... Donkey Kong Raider!
