Okay, results are in and guess who the final 12 are?

*drumroll*

Guys:
1. Mario Vasquez
2. Anwar Robinson
3. Constantine Maroulis
4. Scott Savol
5. Anthony Fedorov
6. Bo Bice

Gals:

1. Lindsey Cardinale
2. Jessica Sierra
3. Mikalah Gordon
4. Nadia Turner
5. Carrie Underwood
6. Vonzell Solomon

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on these final 12 contestants?

I was happy with the results. The only miss I thought was maybe switching Constantine for Nikko Smith - who obviously has a better voice. I just hope they boot out Constantine on the first week. I still haven't heard him sing up to par - he's such a rock poser.

I'm going to have to throw my support behind Scott. I don't really watch the show, so I apologize for interjecting my opinion, but I just felt lead to support the guy from Cleveland, oHIo. Buckeyes unite!

I was about to bite my fingers off from nervous anticipation when Mikala was in the last elimination group. I would have been quite unhappy if she'd been cut.

I'm very happy with the results. My only change would be: Nikko>Scott. Ever since the Hollywood days when he was such a thorn in the side of his group, I haven't really liked him. Other than that, I'm very happy.

So, who do we all think is the next to be eliminated?

YAY Scott-sama!!! *parties like it's 1999* lol. Scott > everyone except Anthony. I'm happy now. He can get cut whenever, because now that he's in the top 12 he'll be on the season 4 CD (unless they decide to pull a season 1 and only include 10 people ><) Of course, if he makes it for a few more rounds I won't complain. One thing I was dissapointed with was that Jessica Sierra made it in. I liked Amanda more.

Mario Vasquez is out and Nikko Smith is in! Did you all hear about this? Well, supposedly Mario left for personal reasons and now Nikko is back. What do you guys think?

This makes no difference to me since I never voted for either one. ^^

Personally, I'm fine with Nikko instead of Mario, but I think the whole thing is just rather stupid. You sign up KNOWING what kind of a commitment the show requires. It's unfair to the contestants you beat out to just drop out. Either way, my opinion is that (unless these "family reasons" arose in the last month) the whole thing was simply immature.

I'm dissapointed, because I liked Mario more than Nikko. I wonder what happened? My mom thinks that he dropped out because there is something in his past, like a criminal record, that he doesn't want getting out, and the "personal reasons" thing is just an excuse.

I was okay with the results of Wednesday night. It might have been nice if Mikalah went, since she sang the worst or possibly Nikko or Constantine - both keep messing up the notes - but Lindsey was going to be voted off anyway. It's just sad she was voted off so soon.

I did enjoy the performance by Bo Bice. Who did you all think had the best performance Tuesday night?

Best performance would probably have to go to Bo or Vonzel(sp?).

It was really hard for me to enjoy Vonzell's performance, because it just wasn't up to par with Dionne Warwick's version of that Burt Bacharach song. I think I'm just being picky though. :D I think she looked really pretty in that red dress. Anwar also looked fantastic in that black suit thing. *hehe*

Who did you think looked the best?

Hey, I liked Mikalah's song. I'm not sure which perofrmance I liked the best. Maybe Scott's, since the only other song that I even knew was the one that Lindsey sang. I was hoping that Jessics would get voted off. I wanted Lindsey to stay!!

Lindsey was really cool- her voice was truly unique. She just didn't have enough personality, so America didn't notice her enough to vote for her. My whole family was mad the Mikalah made it, though. Augh! I really really don't like her! She has more personality than talent, I think, and her personality reminds me of the Nanny- someone I am not fond of either. Sigh... I hope she gets kicked off next week- I pretty much like almost everyone else, especially Bo Bice.

My favorites are so Bo Bice and Nadia- they have to be the final two, I love them so much! I was really surprised by Vonzelle (sp?). She's really stepped it up since she was picked for the top 24. Constantine is also a fave, but not so much for his voice as for his performance- he is soo seductive when he sings. I know he'll get booted, but it's fun to watch him.

Whoa did you guys hear about last night's graphics error?
Due to an error with the graphics shown on-screen (incorrect voting numbers were displayed) during the performance recap at the end of last night’s AMERICAN IDOL, a live, one-hour show will air tonight, Wednesday, March 23 9/8c on FOX, to enable a re-vote. This new show will combine new live elements with encores of Tuesday’s performances from the remaining 11 contestants.
Meh. I'm dissappointed. I want results NOW! XD

The girls I like are, in order: Vonzell, Nadia, Carrie, Jessica
And the guys: Nikko, Anwar, Scott (though he's kind of a jerk... or was, in Hollywood)

Everyone was really good last night, except for Constantine and Mikayla. And Anthony. (but not because of his voice; he just annoys me for some reason) I really don't think Mikayla has a great voice. I hope she goes into acting or something XD

And what was UP with Nadia's hair. (ha ha. pun.)

Whoa did you guys hear about last night's graphics error?

Yes, I say it's a conspiracy... CONSPIRACY!!! :mutter: They only want more viewers and money... :eyeroll:

;) okay, I'm joking:lol:

Anyway, that is such a bummer that they will have to do the show all over again. That was just strange. o_0

Anyway, last night's show I will do a quick run over my thoughts on the whole thing:

Anthony - still straining to become Clay Aiken, stretching his notes, screeching and general karaoke-style copying. Prediction: He will be gone in the next 2 or 3 weeks, kept alive by the moms and grandmothers of the crowd.

Carrie - beautiful, perfect pitch on notes, still shaky on stage, and what's with the stance that looks like she needs to go to the bathroom? Prediction: She will be in the last 3. I wish Simon wouldn't say things like "you will be the winner of this competition and I predict you will sell more albums than any of them." Dang, what's that going to do to her nerves? :shake:

Scott - Has problems with diaphragm control and has a weak voice. His tonal quality is great and he is original. Prediction: He'll last longer than Anthony, unless the over-60 year-olds vote heavily.

Bo - *o*//// I love him. If I weren't married I'd... oh wait, hehe, just kidding. Okay, by far the only one who sings perfectly like a professional each and every time. I love "Time in the Bottle" and used to play it on guitar. Great time for him to change it up to something mellow and soft. Prediction: He will be in the top 2 final and possibly win. Either way, it doesn't matter - he will have a record contract and do well. *waits in line to buy his first CD*

Nikko - Last night was the first time he actually hit his notes. :wow!: ZZZZZZZZ, snoring, boring like every other singer out there. He has nothing unique about him and thus I will NEVER vote for him. Because I know he luckily learned how to sing last night, when previously he's been off key at the beginning of each phrase of his songs. Prediction: He will run away and marry Paula Abdul, secretly in the night and won't make the finals.

Vonzell - She gets better each week and put forth a great effort last night. I think her performance masked the fact she missed and went off pitch three times in her song. But hey, she did do a good show and I give her kudos for that. Prediction: She will make it to the final 5, or get booted off quickly because she does sound like every other female singer out there. She does seem like a really nice person, though. ^__^

Constantine - Can anyway say poser? He is all show, by far in the top 3 for worst vocals. He strains and struts and hopes no one realizes he has a voice that might make it in a little club, but he can't fake his way through a record contract. Prediction: His fan base of girls who can't hear - because they've been listening to Radio Disney too long - will keep him in there for awhile. But, he won't win.

Nadia - I love her stage presence. She looked "fun" last night. She did not do justice to the Cyndi Lauper song. In fact, it was her worse performance, and it showcased that she really doesn't have one of the best voices. However, I just like her. Prediction: She will be in the final 3 or 4.

Mikalah - She has no diaphragm control, hits weak notes and is all personality. I agree with Kireihana, she should go into acting, maybe even stage acting - that seems to be her strength, certainly not vocals. Prediction: Tonight will be the last time you see Mikalah on the American Idol show - be sure and watch!

Anwar - He's become very disappointing. When I first saw him his cuteness superceded what I knew - he has a weak voice. At the beginning of his song last night it was like he was mumbling the words and then he started doing what Anthony does, which is barking out the notes and hoping no one noticed that you missed the pitch at the beginning of the note. Prediction: He'll be around for a little while longer, but his vocals will kill him. X_X

Jessica - She surprises me. I didn't want to like her because she comes off bawdy and unrefined, kind of like trailer trash. Anyway, there is no mistaking that she has the real deal when it comes to vocals. She has been on the money on her notes for the last three performances which lead me to believe she is really a "singer." o_o Prediction: If it wasn't for her not being all that attractive and being a little overweight, I'd say she could win the whole competition purely on her good vocals. She will get a record contract out of this show, whether she wins or not. She's just too honestly good.

Overall impression - Mikalah out, and Carrie will be picked on by the other gals who remain and are catty because of what Simon said. ^__^

Bwa ha ha! A very nice analysis, Chloe. ;)

I think this "techinical malfunction" is pretty pathetic. It's unfair to the contestants to have them perform twice! I can't imagine with this kind of development would do to my nerves.

I hope everybody who did badly last night does just as badly today. Call me mean if you will, but Mikalah deserved the boot. With this new show, she gets an opportunity she didn't deserve.

Concerning my favorites for the SHOW THAT DIDN'T COUNT Tuesday:
1)Carrie
2)Jessica
3)Vonzel
4)Bo
5)Constantine-- thanks to Chloe. :eyeroll:
6)Anwar
7)Nadia
8)Nikko
9)Scott (Frankly, he could sing like an angel, and I'd still hate him. His Hollywood-days-rotten-attitude absolutely repulsed me.)
10)Antony

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Darn Chloe and her attention to details.

YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

lol that was priceless T_N_C XD

I think Simon should stop overdoing the comments for Carrie otherwise she'll get a big head and it'll ruin her performance.

btw, I loved Nadia's new rooster look

Lol Chloe you're almost as frank as Simon. Thank goodness for that though. But it's more funny when Paula doesn't like a song, because you can almost see the kogs in her head trying to figure out a nice way to diss someone.

So. Right.

Furthermore, as much as I grimace at some of Simon's blunt comments, I wish Paula would just LET THE POOR MAN TALK! If he's gonna insult someone, I atleast want to be able to hear it so I can scream and throw pillows at the television. Come on, Paula!

Man, I thought all the contests were gonna sing their songs again. But they just replayed last night's performances. Rip off!

Do we ever wonder why we love this show? XD

Yes, I wonder that often, Kireihana. ^__^;;;

Anyway, what was nice about watching the performances again is it gave me a chance to really listen to the vocals. I have to say that I came away realizing once again - I'm usually right (XD in Simon fashion). The bad were... BAD, and the good... were BETTER.

I do have to change a couple of my comments. I said that Nikko actually sang in tune last night. Wow, was I wrong! O_O He was worse than Constantine. I counted at least 7 pitch problems. And, I was actually wrong about Vonzell missing her notes. She only faltered as she walked down the steps, and that is to be expected.

So, I have my new order of best to worst:

1. Carrie (tie) Jessica
2. Bo Bice
3. Vonzell
These next three, I'm just not sure.
4. Scott
5. Nadia
6. Anwar
These four could go 1,2,3,4 in order
7. Nikko (he could easily switch places with Constantine)
8. Constantine
9. Anthony (he could easily switch places with Mikalah)
10. Mikalah

*Sigh* I admit that I wanted Anthony to do home last night, but Mikalah did earn her last place spot. I shall miss her humor. . . but not her voice (or atleast not the one she's been using the last couple weeks).

the more I read everyones comments the more I realize my opinions really don't line up with the majority, just like with everything else ^_^. Of course I probably wouldn't be able to tell you when and how a person is out of tune or singing right if my life dependend on it. Overall my impression of the last performance night was I liked everyone except Nikko and Vonzel, although it wasn't that Vonzel was bad, it was just that she didn't stand out to me. I liked Mikalah's performance and wish she could have stayed, at the expense of Jessica, even though her performance was pretty good this week. I just don't like Jessica for some reason, but since I seem to be the only one, maybe I'll shut up, before we start a war to rival the Final Fantasy 6 arguments on the game forum ^^. And who knows, maybe I'll end up growing to like her, like I did with Diana last season. Anyway my faves are still Anthony and Scott!!! Why is everyone so hard on Scott for the Hollywood thing?? Maybe he just doesn't do well with groups or maybe there was some other reason, like he wasn't feeling well/was in a bad mood for some other reason/whatever. He did eventually show up to practice and the next day he was getting along with his group partners well enough that they were hugging and stuff. I thought the way Scott acted was a little suspect too at first, but in the end I figured if his group mates were able to forgive him for it then I should be able to ^_^, + he's my fave anyway!. Also, I've loved all of Anthony's performances except for his first semi-finals song. His second semi-finals song ROCKED!!! And Clay Aiken > everyone except Gackt ^_^!! *plays "invicible" on his MP3 player* It seems so far the song I thought was the best overall (although we still have a while to go with this season) has been in the semi-finals. Last year my all time favorite performance was Amy Adam's semi-finals song, and this year my fave so far was Anthony's 2nd semi-finals song.

I propose a question. for anyone who watched season 3 I'd like to ask, who were your favorite and least favorite contestants, and which speciic performances (if you remember) were your favorites??

 There's no way we'd go to war over anyone's preference here. ^_____^ We all like who we like, there is no rule that says you have to all think the same. ] but not her voice (or atleast not the one she's been using the last couple weeks).
Okay, I'm glad someone else noticed this. I thought I was hearing all wrong.:eh: What was with her voice?

I was a big Fantasia fan on Season 3. I also liked Amy Adams and thought she should have stayed way longer than the red-headed guy and the one who was a really bad, bad, bad singer, John or something or other. He had blonde hair and was short and couldn't sing a note. Paula goo-goo gawing all over him really turned my stomach, since he couldn't sing and barely had a personality. But, he lost, so no big. ^____^

I'm beginning to wonder if Paula or Randy can still hear. o_0;; It seems only Simon can actually hear.

I was rooting for Amy Adams, but I switched to Diana half way in, after she really started improving. I also though Jasmine was good and really cute. As I already said, my favorite season 3 performance was Amy Adams' in the semi-finals. It made me tingle all over, lol. After that my favorites were "No More Tears" and "This Is It" sung by Diana (Simon took back his comment about her being too young for the competition. YAY!)

I have to agree with Osaka, I was so happy that Anthony was in the bottem three, but it's still good that Makhala went, I was never a fan of her voice.

My fave three performesence would be (in order):
1) Bo Bice (so cool!! XD)
2) Carrie Underwood
3) Jessica (forget her last name)

And Clay Aiken > everyone except Gackt ^_^!!

Not to start a fight but....Did you just.....DIS Gackt? O_O
