Postby Shao Feng-Li » Sat Oct 11, 2003 6:18 pm

Let's see I have three Siblings: One sister and two brothers. I have a mom and dad.
And best of all we area all home- schooled (or fooled as my dad teases ;) )
Right now I'm working on an Anime style fiction called Jesus Freaks:Year 2603- and I'd be happy to tell you about it if you ask. And I'm trying to learn Japanese. Maybe a tutor would be a big help... And I'm trying to get into a Karate class-ever since I saw DBZ on t.v. Ive been calling up the local dojos. Just to bad it's so expensive... :stressed: Well that's all I can think of at the moment. If you want to know morw just ask! ;)

Nice avatar.

Just start a thread in the Art Corner. Upload all the files you want through the "Manage Attachments" link near the very bottom of the page. Find the file you want to uplaod and click on the "Add this file "button. Then wait for it to upload to the server. Once you're done with that click "All Done" button and post your message or new thread.

You can size them down with Photoshop, The Gimp, or anyother imaging program that does more than M$ Paint (you can do the same in Paint, but there's no compression and resize quality is very, very poor). The Gimp is free if you don't have an image program readily available. Just resize the image to however smaller you want it to be with a resize tool and compress it using the jpeg format. Do have an imaging program?

I used to be homeschooled, but it drove me insane, no one to talk to. Beside that, that is was cool. :)

By looking at your sig, you're a star wars fan right?

Yeah I love SW. And I love homeschooling. I was in public school for a while. And it didn't take long before I realized I was surrounded by foul mouthed God-hating punks. In other words and didn't hang out with anyone.

Hi Ruroken!

I work in public schools, and they really aren't all bad--in fact, I think the bad things are in the minority, and there are some very positive things going on in public schools. In addition, being in a public school gives one opportunities to reach out to non-Christians, though I realize it can be difficult. But whatever God's will is for you, just let that be done.

By the way, what kind of anime are you into? Do you have any favorite series?

Woo-hoo! Karate! Yeah, it is expensive, but I feel it's worth it if you can find a good dojo. Builds strength, confidence, self defense skills... :)

Okay so maybe not all public schools ar bad, just around here.
as for anime I really limit myself to watchinf it on TV, because like on Cartoonnetwork's toonami they edit out just about anything offensive.
WEll I like Yi-Gi-Oh, DBZ- although it's starting to get old...-, Yu Yu Hakusho, SD Gundam <---Favorite, The Haiyao Miyazaki films, Zoids, Rurouni Kenshin <---another favorite, G Gundam is okay, THat's all I can think of for now

Cool! I love that game. Sadly, I only rented it for the Xbox. Therefore, I never got a chance to beat it, but I'm getting it for the computer. What kinda character do you use?

Hi Ruroken! :jump: I'm glad you like being homeschooled so much. My kids tell me they prefer it to the public schools as well. I'm an aikido fan, and never tried karate - it looks more painful. :stressed:

Hope you enjoy this site! :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Don't forget, God died for those foul mouthed God-hating punks, too!

P.S. Scoundrel's the best, for sure.

I'm homeschooled as well. I prefer Jeet Kun Do because you get to punch harder.

You get to punch harder? Harder than... ? In Shito Ryu style we punch as hard/fast as we physically can. Maybe it's just an unusual style of karate, though.
