Clarrissa Explains it All...on DVD!

Postby Rocketshipper » Wed Feb 09, 2005 8:42 am

YAY!!!! *jumps up and down like a maniac* Finally! *looks around* um... Anyway, does anyone here remember this old show. It ran on Nickelodeon for 5 seasons and then had re-runs forever. Clarissa was one of my ALL time favorite TV shows, and now it's finally coming to DVD. You can see the news article here.

I'm probably going to go home and reserve a copy ASAP. I hope it sells well, or they might not release the rest of the seasons.

always good news that old shows like Clarissa are being brought back from the dead. Though I dont remember much of the show after 93, I did love the whole SNICK lineup back in the early 90's; hopefully some of those other old favorites will show up on DVD eventually as well.

That show never did anything for me. Now if they would put Keenan and Kel on DVD (if they havn't already) I would buy that one.

I remember it. I liked the show but it didn't really keep me watching it. Now I can't say the same for the likes of Happy Days and the Wonder Years.

My daughter watched this one all the time years ago, but alas, would probably feel she's too old for it now. She watched this and that lead later to Lizzy McGuire and Even Stevens.

This is cool, but what's even cooler is that if you click that link, it tells you that Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and The Adventures of Pete and Pete are coming to DVD. YES.

Oh yeah, I remember that.... I used to watch it years ago. It's what really got Melissa Joan Hart career started. ALthough, it was an okay show (when I was young) I think I'm a bit old for it now. Plus, I doubt I would enjoy it anymore.

Also, is it me or does it seem like all the past tv shows/series are being released on dvd... What's next, Blossom? Though it's always nice to own the dvd's to some of your favorite shows, so I guess it has its good sides.

I really didn't care for Clarissa Explains it All, but would love to buy Salute Your Shorts and The Adventures of Pete and Pete. I think that Nickelodeon has really gone downhill...for example, Lil Romeo. ._. My brother likes that show, though.

Oh yeah, I also liked "Slaute Your Shorts," and "Pete and Pete." I agree, Nickelodeon has gone down hill... Although I may just be us getting older and actually seeing how bad the shows actually were.

I mean, I used to be a Power Rangers Fan when I was in the 4th grade. Now, when I wake up really early for work and flip through the channels, I see that ABCFamily still shows them. Watching a few minutes I realized how bad it really was. They were just horrific. Guess, kids are more easily entertained. *shrugs*
