Hello!

Hidy, there, y'all! I was brought here today by MillyFan. I met her on The Fanfiction Network, where I am known as Lady Shadowcat. I've written lots of Trigun fanfiction.

I think I *might* have been here before. I used to post occasionally on a Christian Anime fans ezboard.

Anyway...um... I do art, I write... I'm trying to become a serious writer and I've joined a local Christian Writer's Club. I write fantasy and science fiction. I also love anime and write fanfiction. Once upon a time, I used to fanfic write for Pokemon (Yes :rolls_eye ) and I've written lots of stuff for Trigun, which is something I've been obsessed with for... about two years now. (I keep my obessions for a long time). I might give up fanfiction to concentrate on my originals after I finish my latest one, but I'm not sure about that yet.

I also like The Matrix (though it's not anime), The Animatrix (which is!), Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Petshop of Horrors, Hellsing, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Azumanga Daioh! (A friend gave me a fansub... so funny!)...

And I'm currently falling in love with Haibane Renmei, as you might have guessed from my name and avatar.

Mangas I read: Blade of the Immortal, Phoenix, Petshop of Horrors, currently reading the Adolf series, and looking forward with much drooling to the upcoming Trigun translation (I've read some fantranslation, but not much).

Well, I'm here. La.

I am also a big Haibane Renmei fan. Actually, I'm a big Yashatori ABe fan. I read anything about him(talk about obsessed).

We just got finished watching the Azu Manga Daioh series. It is one of my favorites. :thumb: Absolutely, one of the funniest shows  and so cute.

Hope you have fun on this site.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Yes, Blade of the Immortal is good, and I love the art style. (It's not done in a typical manga style - it is much more sketchy and fine-artish). I do warn, though... if you can't stomach gore... it's really, REALLY violent. It's interesting how it's drawn, though... the gore in it is often drawn... in a beautiful way.

Ah, someone who likes Blade of the Immortal. I have read the first couple mangas, though it was good, I just got bored a little to fast.

By the way welcome, enjoy your stay!
