How many have read Heaven Sent by Antarctic Press. The story is about a young boy Kyle Taylor whose family is devistated by his mother's death in the World Trade Towers on 9-11-01. Later Kyle is later struck by a car and on the verge of death where he meets his guardian angel Samantha who makes a deal with the Angel of Death to save his life. The one thing is that Samantha is in love with Kyle and has taken him to Heaven to help train him to rescue his mother from Hell.
In issue #6 Kyle learns that Samantha was the daughter of a Roman General. Her mother converted to Christianity and the Emperor Nero had both arrested and sent to the Colosseum where they perished. God considered Samantha worthy of being a guardian angel but she was not satisfy until she had revenge on Nero.
So she trained until she could fight her way into Hell to confront Nero and when she confronts him she sees what the Devil has done to make Nero suffer for what his done in his life. He begs for Samantha to release his soul from the enternal damnation, but she tells him his punishment is her reward for her revenge and leaves.
Sometime after that Samantha is ambushed by a demon which causes her to become unconscious and to fall to Earth as a bird who is found by a younger Kyle who takes her home to nurse her back to health and while Kyle is asleep she changes back and kisses him leaving freckles on his face.
I am waiting for the rest of the issues to see Kyle and Samantha fight their way into Hell to save his Kyle's mother.
