I've got some more.
When I was younger, I loved anime and didn't know what the word meant. I'd be on the Internet looking up Digimon and stuff (old favorite) and "anime" would come up. I thought it was pronounced "aneem" and thought it was the alternate name of Dratini. o_O I don't know why Dratini, but...oh well...
Also, I've got a mad crush on Battousai (Rurouni too but Battousai's just so wonderful!!!!) even though if I glomped him he'd probably kill me... *points to signature*
