A Super Mario Fansite

Postby Felix » Mon Jan 03, 2005 3:48 pm

This is a fansite that I just started. It is quite empty right now but I'm working on it.
There should be music but I'm not sure if it'll work.
I hope you like it and I will try to update as much as possible.

Not bad for your first site... Mario is the man, old school indeed.

Suggestion:
under your link http://www.geocities.com/muopii/smbc_air.html the background image really makes it difficult to read the text. My suggestion is to make it look like your "Overworld section" http://www.geocities.com/muopii/smbc_land.html. The text is easier to read and the overall look is easy on the eyes.

Other then that the layout is nice. Good use of tables, it really makes the page look much better. Keep it up :thumb:

I like the concept, and the old-school nintendo graphics rule. I like the collections of sprites, too. I agree with what agasfan said about the airship page, though; the text is quite difficult to read with the background. Nice job so far, though.
..by the way, your link icon is adorable ^___^

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I just haven't got around to changing it.
I think I'll do that now.

YES! I used to play Mario 3, I think it was (the one with the map and the mushrooms that appear on the map and stuff and you go around levels on the main map. There's also the raccoon guy that you get after getting a feather (never got that one). I liked the raccoon-mario's tinkly flying music.) on the SNES! Not sure where it's gone now.

All right - you can ignore the craziness above. Suffice to say I loved Mario. Still do. Your site is bringing it all back. ^_^. Happy days. *Hurrahs mario and all old-school gamers*. Cool website.
