Uriah's art topic.

Postby Uriah » Mon Nov 08, 2004 6:09 pm

It was suggested that I start posting my art in one topic.

Comments and constructive criticism is always welcome.

I have 2 new works today, one is a signature I made. (By the way, I would appreciate it if someone here would host it for me.)

The other is just a guy doing a kung fu move..

that's pretty cool! Good job. :thumb:

Those are cool. The one on the left looks like real manga. The solid black gives it a realistic look. Well done. Keep it up!

Heres a full body picture of the same girl.

I had her in a backround, I was toning it in photoshop, after getting the backround about 60% toned, I get a lovely runtime error, and lose all of it..

I'll post the full version with the backround when I get it done...

I decided to alter and ink a really old sketch of mine. I think it turned out pretty well.

I like your stuff a lot. The black and white gives it a very bold feel. The angel looks like he just got done owning someone.

Nice work...Cool boldness to it. You might want to ad a "breaker line" on the kung fu picture. Just put a white line at about the bottum of the armpit...It'll help draw the veiwer in...(I couldn't see where the arm was for a while...It'll really define it.) And you might want to change the left wing on your angel...Show just a bit more of the wing. It'll help balence the picture out. Keep up the good work!

Heh, have I ever mentioned how much I like bold outlines? I definitely like your style and will be watching you. ;)

About the bloody angel pic, I think the left wing could use some spread, even if it's viewed from a side angle. Apart from that, I like the image. Also, the chibi version is good. :thumb:

Keep up the great job, Uriah! Hope you've managed to find some writers to help you get started on webmanga. This is going to be a lot of fun ~
