Has anyone got the chance to play this game?
What do you think of it?

I haven't played it, but Game Informer gave it a 4.25 out of ten. Also, I read some reviews online, and no one seems to think very highly of this game. The comment I saw the most was, "If you're an Inuyasha fan you'll enjoy the cut scenes, but the game itself isn't very good."

I WAS going to get it, but being as I'm not a huge Inuyasha fan, and I've been spoiled by excellent RPGs like Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, Wild ARMs, and the like, I think I'll steer clear of average RPGs.

Most games based on anime have a trend of sucking unfortunately.

It looked good, but I have to agree with:

I rented it. Liked it. Now I own it. Its probobly only good if you like Inuysaha, which I do. You can't argue with being able to use Inuyasha's windscar, backlash wave, Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, or Miroku's windtunnel. And the Co-op techniques are cool. My fav is Kagome with Miroku.

The battles are slow, and the main guy is a total weakling. I am playing it as the girl cause the dialouge fits better. No offense to the girls out there :)

I wasn't to impresed at first but after I got Sango...well the battles can be as slow as they want as long as I have Sango and her Hirikotsa. Sango rocks  You have shippo, and miraculously he is quite powerful. But Inuyasha is the strongest character followed by Sango.

Someone do a review! Tell us everything!
I almost asked for it for Christmas.....
Can't you play either a boy or girl character who runs around with the Inu gang?

Yea Guy or Girl. You can choose the gender and first name of your character.
I would love to do a reveiw. Soon as I finish it. That one could be awhile. I am only 8 hours in.

Oh, don't worry. It only takes about 20 hours to beat, including running around completely and totally lost.

See, personally, I like my games to take awhile. Like, over 40 hours. So, this game is certainly not for me.

I humble disagree, .hack was good and as I have already mentioned this one is pretty good to.

Actually, unless I'm mistaken, .hack was a game first, and then an anime. Anime based on games is actually fairly decent...even though I hated .hack the game. Sorry, but I don't like games where every level looks exactly the same. Even Mario Bros. for NES had variations in the levels...*shakes head*

Anyway, in my opinion, your review of the game would be biased. As stated before, pretty much only Inuyasha fans are going to enjoy the game. Since you are an Inuyasha fan, your opinion would be different from, say, someone like myself who hasn't seen the show. Personally, I like games that have depth to it rather than requiring you to be a fan of the series to enjoy it. For example, do you have to have watched the Arc the Lad anime to enjoy the game? No, you don't. The game is engrossing and enjoyable on its own without having to have watched a TV show to enjoy it. From what I've heard, you have to already be an Inuyasha fan to enjoy this game.

Though I have seen it slammed elsewhere, I would really like to see a review on this site of this game from someone who is NOT an Inuyasha fan. :P Then it would truly be an unbiased review.
