Krenz In A Nutshell

Postby Krenz » Sat Dec 11, 2004 6:12 pm

Hey! Here's my official bio thread! My name is R. Krenz, I was born on April 12, 1990 in Rockledge, Florida!

Family History: The majority of my family is somewhat of a wreck. My dad died before I was born. My mother is an alcoholic, even though she is an (unpracticing) Catholic. My brother's been to jail before, and has had drug charges against him. My uncle on my mother's side is the same as my brother. There's been tons of yelling and fighting, and I hated it. But things have recently begun to look up. My brother now works for my uncle on my Dad's side, as a laborer and a mason. He might even go on a mission trip soon! My mother is starting to become a little less alcoholic and more relgious, thanks to my recent coming to the Lord.

School: I'm in the 9th grade in high school. I take Spanish, English Honors, Algebra II Honors, Biology Honors, Gifted World History, and TV Production. And I'm passing with flying colors.

Religion: For the longest time I didn't really know the Lord. I believed in him, but I wasn't really committed. I did just about all the things I now know I shouldn't have done. I won't go into detail, but it wasn't good.
About a month ago and a half, I opened my life to Him, and things have been looking up since. God has really blessed me, and I will never regret giving my life to the Lord.

Howdy Krenz. I enjoyed your intro in the picture thread. You look very much like your avatar.

What anime do you enjoy?

I enjoy GitS: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and Full Metal Alchemist. How about you?

PS: Yeah, someone drew my avatar for me and used that photo as a reference.

Well, I enjoy quite a few anime. My top five are probably:

1. Now and Then, Here and There
2. Rurouni Kenshin
3. Trigun
4. Ranma 1/2
5. either Jubei-chan or The Irresponsible Captain Tylor

I enjoy Ranman and Trigun too, among others. Haven't heard of either 5 nor 1. Care to summerize?

All three are in the review section.

NTHT: My favorite series. Shuzo Matsutani (My avatar) meets a mysterious girl sitting atop a smoke stack in his home town and decides he wants to meet her. Shortly after she is attacked by huge snake like robots and Shu rushes to her defense. They are transported to a somewhat post-apocalyptic desert world where water is the most precious commodity, children are enslaved and turned into an army, and human life is cheap. It doesn't sound like much, but it really must be viewed to be appreciated. It's not that hard to find at Blockbuster to give it a cheap view. It's also got a somewhat pro-life message to it.

Jubei-chan: Zany comedy plus great sword fights and even a bit of drama. By the same director who did NTHT, it also has a high moral quality. The story is basicly that Jubei Yagyu leaves behind an eye-patch destined for the one who is to succeed him as the greatest swordsman in the world, and it turns out to be a 15 year-old girl who wants nothing to do with it, hillarity ensues as the enemies of Jubei try to take the eye-patch from her.

The Irresponsible Captain Tylor: The biggest slacker in the Galaxy joins the Galactic Navy and begins to climb up the chain of command through a series of lucky mishaps. War breaks out and Tylor's superiors give him the most dangerous missions in an attempt to get rid of him, but he succeeds each time. Now the enemy thinks he is the greatest commander they have and he becomes the only person who can save the universe from all out war.
