I really must say I am shocked. I guess from what I have been reading...today was also the day John Lennon was shot. As much of a bummer as it is that we will probably never know why the gunman did what he did...A cop was there and made sure he would never do it again. Prayers should most surely go out for this mans family. That somthing good could possibly come from this. We really live in a messed up world.

personally, i had never heard of him before today(not into that kind of music) but i heard he was a legend, and its sad to see one go like that, even though i dont think his name is very appropriate...

He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there, He is pleased even with their stumbles.

Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.

Nail pierced hands they run with blood
A splitting brow forced by the thorns
His face is writhing with the pain yet it's comforting to me

He was the guitarist for Pantera and was currently with Damageplan. Indeed a loss to the music industry.

I liked both Pantera and Damageplan. I hadn't really followed them to the point that I knew band members by name, so it's kinda sad that I only learned the guy's name after he got killed. This is sad news for metal fans everywhere.

Wait a sceond, didn't the singer shoot him?

I only heard that he was killed, not to many details though.
"Relax, turn around, and take my hand." Tool
"Heir Kommt Die Sonne." Rammestein
"Now the world is gone, I'm just one. Oh please God help me." Metallica
"Are You Ready?!?" KoRn
"All and all your just another brick in the wall." Pink Floyd.
The downfall of society will be society itself.
Rap is the malignant tumor of the music industry.
