Awakenings (1990)

one of the greatest movies ever.

The film is about A man, Dr. Malcolm Sayer (played by robin williams), who found a job at a psyciatric ward in the bronx (during the late 1960s) and he has noticed a few patients with some rare disease. Sort of like parkinsons to the point that they do not move at all. He devised a medicine to temporary "awaken" the patients. It is incredibly emotional, and full of hope. I definately recommend it to everyone.
