Don't Call Out My Name

Postby Cedahlia » Sat Dec 04, 2004 10:38 pm

This is a poem I wrote for no real reason. It just kind of came to me...O.o; I don't think it's my best, but decided to post it here. ^^; Hope you like it.

Don't Call Out My Name

Too lost now.
Hallucinations of rainbows and silver
Are all I see.

Don't call out my name.
Don't call out my name.

Too far gone now.
Feelings of anger, joy and loneliness
Fill me to the point of running over.

Don't call out my name.
Don't call out my name.

Too free now
Taste of freedom is what I want most
No wish to go back.

Don't call out my name.
Don't call out my name.

Too reckless now
Falling with no bottom in sight
This is my only fate.

Don't call out my name.
Don't call out my name.

Too lost now.
Knowing I couldn't make it without you
Despair is consuming me.

You've called out my name.
You've called out my name.

Reminds me of Call Me, Call Me from Cowboy Bebop. Probably because of the thing about <<Hallucinations of rainbows>> and the line in the song about "I close my eyes and I keep seeing things/Rainbow waterfalls/Sunny liquid dreams/".
Think happy thoughts.

Thank you very much. ^_^

Also, perelandra-san, I wasn't really thinking of that when I wrote it, but after I re-read it I thought that it kind of sounded like that as well. So it can have dual meanings. ^_^
