Well, Adult Swim is showing Full Metal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, so I'm definately giving up sleep to see them now.

Sentimental Journies? What's that about? (Sounds like a feature story on Oprah. . .)
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

It's a series of 12 love stories (each centering on a different woman). Each deals with the emotions that a woman is dealing with in regard to the one she loves. The love interest is rarely seen, and the total focus in on her struggles, which amazingly, brings about a great deal of character development in each thirty minute episode. It's a good buy, 12 episodes in one volume. However, it is only in the subtitled format.

Yup, what he said. ^^ It's based off Sentimental Graffiti 2 - the insanely popular dating sim (of the non-H sort). The love interest that Rev. Doc was talking about is supposed to be the character that the player of the game would be - which is why the voice or face is rarely seen or heard, respectively.

It really is an excellent buy, and I'm impressed with the way entire, unrelated stories are told within 30 minute episodes. I especially like the opening sequence where it shoes each girl starting off on the proverbial journey, and you can see bits of their personality type. Like one is an artist, another is a singer and such. (I especially like [although I've yet to see the episodes] the space-case girl and the crazy girl hanging out of the tree).

I bought my copy at Best Buy (on a whim) for $20. It's rated 7+ but so far I'd lean towards rating it 11-12+. Looks like either I or the Rev. will have a review up soon, so keep your eyes peeled. ;)
