I'm sure most of you know about Treasure, (as in the game company) and I have a question: what was the last game they designed?

And I know that most of their games have become cult faves, but did they do well commercially?

Treasure has just released in Japan Wario World for the Gamecube. Before that I think it was Guardian Heroes Advance for the Gameboy Advance. The people at Treasure are the masters of the sidescrolling shooter, well in my book anyway. They made Gradius, Ikaruga, and of course their first game and my all time favorite Genesis game Gunstar Heroes.

No none of their games have really been bestsellers either here or in Japan. But yeah they are known for making insanely fun and good looking games.

Don't forget Radiant Silvergun!!!

So Treasure is really more of a cult favorite rather than a commercial success.
