I like Dash the most. I love the way he stands up for Violet in hard times, even though they tease each other. Of course Violet does the same for him, but I empathize more with Dash.

Violet is the coolest. Inviso and Force field, i don't think they have ever been put together before. Truely a unique character. (i still need to see this movie! :))
It is easy to miss the possibility that every person who crosses your path can become an event and a memory, good or bad, to fill in the hours with experience instead of tedium, to break the monotony of the passing moments. Those wasted moments, those hours of sameness, of routine, are the enemy, I say, are little stretches of death within the moments of life. - Drizzt Do'Urden

Elasti-girl. The Ultimate Mom.

Actually, my favorite character was Edna Mode, but she isn't on the list, and Elasti-girl is a close second.

I haven't seen the movie, yet, but I think that has been done before. Rings a bell, anyway. But I agree, a FANTASTIC idea. Not unique, though, say a one in FOUR shot?

Oh, man. That's hard. I liked them all, but I'd say Dash, Vi, and Elasti-girl were my top choices. I voted Vi because I thought she was the most dynamic character.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Violet.

*Shrugs* I'm a guy, what can I say?

Seriously, though, her powers were pretty awesome. Though it WAS difficult to choose between her and Mr. Incredible himself. He had some great lines in that movie.

Also, it's nice to know that Craig T. Nelson was not, in fact, shot and killed by Peter Griffin (obscure Family Guy reference).

I have to go with Mr.Incredible on this one. The others are cool, but Mr.Incredible is my favorite.

And yes, invisibility and force fields have been combined before, in the person of the Invisible Girl (Sue Storm/Richards) of the Fantastic Four. Just thought I'd make that clear, since anyone who didn't already know that wouldn't understand the pun :P .

I like Jack Jack the best. He's a SHAPESHIFTER! That, and I felt that the older kids were too sterotypical and formulaic. The token hyper younger brother who is a bit too headstrong and the older, more rational sister who is discovering guys. It's just been so DONE before. Not that I hold it against the characters, they are both deeper than normal and I found it hard not to like any of the characters (save Syndrome, but that's just a given).

I saw the movie! It was a great time. I really enjoyed it, and so now I can vote!

My vote goes to Violet, the stereotypical and formulaic older sister. I'm a sucker for the old "coming out" story and I really enjoyed watching her go from being insecure and even afraid of her powers to a bold and confident young lady, secure in her place in the world. Good story. I will never tire of it.

Sounds like a fun movie.

I hope you don't mind me asking - is it worth going to see? :)

Yes its worth seeing, and I wanna buy it when it comes out :)

Aka-chan, Elastigirl was my 2nd favorite  The scene with her streched between doors was funny! And yeah it was cool how she held her family together -- LITERALLY, at the dinner table!

Frankly the 2 best characters in the movie were probably Edna and that little kid with the bubble gum though

Yes, but I have a bias. I have a familial obligation to see all Pixar movies.

Thanks - I will try to go see it ASAP then
I've enjoyed all the Pixar movies I've seen so far so if this one lives up to the usual standard it should be worth going to see :) .

Mr Incredible Hands down.

though Bomb-Voyage would have gotten my vote if he were on the list

I liked the bad guy at the very end of the movie too ;)

I second that. I personally thohught that was one of the most inventive elements in the movie. I mean, who things of have a French Speaking, mime that blows stuff up be a villian. So Hillarious.

I had to go with Elasti-girl. She frightened me at times, but I liked her general character and I also think it's neat that they made a mom into a cool "super."

this guy at my church said that the first fantastic four battle was with these guys that came from underground; and the incredibles' (excluding jack-jack) powers are extremely similar 2 the fantastic 4's. yeah, i liked that little kid on the trycicle with the bubble gum and Edna.
