Iframe properties in Firefox/Netscape

Postby Debitt » Sun Oct 31, 2004 10:21 am

Does a tag such as: <iframe name="iframe" width="271" height="193" src="main.htm" style="FILTER: chroma (color=#00FF00)" frameborder="0"> work in a Firefox or a Netscape browser? I'm not new to webdesign, but I'm VERY new to designing for browsers other than IE, so help with what I can use in Firefox/Netscape and what I can't would be very much appreciated.

Yeah both Firefox and Netscape support Iframes they wouldn't be verry good browsers if they didnt lol

Here are some articles on browser compatiblity while designing a web site.

Now if you got allot of money you can use these services below. They take pictures of your site in just about any browser you want so you can see what it looks like whithout having to download all of the browsers yourself.

It's not the iframe compatability I'm worried about, it's the "style="filter:chroma(color=#00FF00)" part of the code that has me concerned.

Well, can you post a link to a page where you use it? A bunch of us can go there and post what it looks like if you can do that.
