Tsunami is my favorite anime character, but that name was already taken, so I put V8 in front of it because I love cars that have V8's in 'em. (like my T'Bird)

jazz is the name of one of the characters i played in a drama production awhile ago. for some reason it just stuck, and so i thought hey, it makes a pretty good screen name whenever i need one  . it saves me the trouble of having to think up names on the spot. ;)

I picked this name when I registered on a forum to help someone with some issues of why a particular font didn't look right. I took the word calligraphic (because I rather liked calligraphy and it was relevant), and altered it a little. Now, I am the only Kaligraphic on the web, at least according to google.

Interesting; I had somewhat wondered about your username, and that curiosity has now been sated.

Simmilarly, while Google produces a great many hits for the words "uncreative" and "pseudonym" I have never had any difficulty registering the name on any forum or site.

Well, when one thinks of Mike Myers, they would have to conciously think of "Austin Powers" (of which my avatar is based on.) He is by far the funniest guy on Saturday Night Live and his movies are all hilarious (Wayne's World \ Austin Powers.)

I came up with the name "Emanku" a few years ago. Don't know how or why, I just did. After that I started to build a character around the name. Soon I had a golden dragon with a personality similar to my own as the main character in my most successful literary endeavor. It's a novel I'm writing called "Eternal Fire". Anyway, since I invented the name, I could use it for everything from a personal nickname to my e-mail adress (emanku@hotmail.com). By the way, it's pronounced ee-man-koo. I don't know why but a lot of people struggle with that pronunciation. I've heard em-ank-uh too many times.
I will not waver, doubt or falter for all truth in this world has been written into the book here at my side.

Well you see, it's a very very long story. But since you asked so nicely I'll tell you.....

because its my name.

Seriously however, my full name is Kathleen (often confused with Katharine, Katarina, Katrina, Katia, Catalina, and even Kimberly at times) and "Kat" is a derivative of that. Contrary to popular belief, it has absolutely nothing to do with an obsessive adoration for cats, which I am highly allergic to.

I sometimes parade around with a Latin pseudonym (Mare Aeternitas) because I enjoy the language, but other than that I see no need to strain myself coming up with a bizarre internet alias. And I like my name, it's kind of interesting. It makes me think of a fiesty female news reporter from the early 30's and 40's. Think Polly Perkins from "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow".
Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

ROFL. Nice - I'm allergic to cats, but not so badly. I do love them, though.

Creature Art... it's a bit self-explanatory, but I'll elaborate anyway. I draw random crazy creatures that are not always even somewhat based on laws of nature (*points down*) - I mean, one doesn't even have a nose or ear openings! ;)

I chose Doubleshadow because for most of my life I had no friends, and I was comforted by the fact the Christ is with me no matter what. He's always there. The shadow comes in because when two people are together, there are two shadows, one for each of them. Now, obviously Jesus' shadow isn't there, but it might as well be because He's right here anyhow. The name Doubleshadow reminds me that I am never alone. (Love my Savior :))

Good reason. Very nice.

I thought I had a screen name no one else would take, but there seems to be another out there somewhere. Either that or I've register twice in a couple of places.

When I was 16, I wanted to have a band and call it Tofu Juice. Where that came from, I don't really know, I just made it up one day. After that, I made Tofu_Juice my name on Battle.net for StarCraft, and since then it's been my name!
Until recently! I needed a change, so my AIM name is now Tofu Impact (after Momo/Edo Impact, an aquaintance of mine). Most people just call me Tofu... I was UBER pleased to be able to have straight Tofu on this board ^_^

I got dubbed a heretic during an anime flame war when I said certain famous anime titles like Akira were overrated and only famous because they were different from American cartoons. During the exchange, he said anime was his religion, so I said, if anime is a religion, then call me the "Anime Heretic." I decided to use it as a handle on anime forums, and shortened it to AnimeHeretic for style reasons.

Well kai was my nickname at school it means in hawaiian ocean and japanese it means to meet. brightwing was a last name of a character from one of my stories so one of my new characters was named kai brightwing and became my second name online.
I n September of 2012 Megaroad-01 was launched with an escort of fleet of zentraedi warships. From that point on the mass-production of the Megaroad -class colony ship began and soon long-range colony fleets were routinely being launched from earth solar system at a rate of 1-2 per year.
In September of 2022 Megaroad-19 colony ship with it’s escort fleet left earth and headed south fifteen degrees to the right of the southern star. On a mission with three objection; One to search for a planet to colonize, two to see what the rim of the galaxy looks like, three to see if any zentraedi fleets are out there. On July 21, 2025 Megaroad-19 entered its ninth star system and named it the sierra system.
Orbiting the third planet is an asteroid that was some ten miles in size, and a moon that was named Karla.

Wooow, there's some deep reasons behind some of the usernames round here. I'm afraid my own reasons are rather goofy

Phew, this is my third time explaining the story behind my username. Basically, I was inspired by a Simpsons' episode in which Lisa is dared to drink some seriously iffy looking water on a 'It's a Small World' parody ride at Duffland, a Disneyland spoof. She then goes on a trippy delusional rampage that culiminates in her being drug out of a park fountain howling 'I am the LIZARD QUEEEEN!!!'

Eh, I thought it was funny. There was also the whole Jim Morrison/'I am the Lizard King' bit back in the 60s/70s. I like the Simpsons, I like insane humor and I like reptiles and dragons. And the self created characters that I'm most fond of are lizards. So I guess it makes sense..

Ah, that's one of my favourite Simpson episodes. The part where Homer gets better after watching that questionable Hercules movie and says to Marge. "Homercles cares not beans!" That phrase has entered my basic phrases and sometimes I'd say "Bigsleepcles cares not for <enter subject>" And I can't help but smile when I think about that gross sandwhich.
