I like them. They could make a good poem if you could think of more to say.

I also find i can think of lines that would make a poem but cant think of enough. It can be frustrating at times.I wish i could think of more lines to help you but im out of ideas right now. For some reason i need to be in a certain mood to write poetry. Weird eh?

today you left the world behind
and left me here to wonder why.
Why did you have to go,
and leave me here cold and alone?
I should be happy, that I know
you're in a better place now
were there's no suffering and no pain
and you're surrounded by God's love and grace,
but it's just one thing that makes me cry,
I never got to say goodbye.

i don't know guys, what do you all think?

Exactly! If I sit down and try to write a poem, I often can't do it. I have to have the right inspiration.

pieces of my autobiography

Postby serena » Thu Oct 28, 2004 8:09 am

my life at 15

There's times in this so troubled world,

in which i doubt my own existence.

What I feel may not be real,

and what I see is naught but dreams.

The night is unbearably cold,

I fell depressed an all alone.

I've been forsaken by the world.

A blade, two cuts, the red blood flows,

it all goes dark as my eyes close.

The morning comes, I'm still alive,

I open my eyes to see the light.

the warmth surrounds me and I feel loved.

Happiness fills me for now I know,

that no matter what, i'm loved by the Lord.

this poem is about a time in my life that was really messed up, and i'm glad that i was able to overcome it and move on. i realized that to attempted suicide is just a call for help and i was so lost that i didn't realize that god was with me all along

i'm glad you survived your attempt at suicide; God must have been looking out for you; after all, there are many who don't quite make it....
