Wow, Hari. You certainly do post a lot! I was looking through this thread and it was just Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari Hari... ok, so maybe that's an exaggeration (unless there's something seriously wrong with my computer, you post seven times in a row), but you certainly will have no problem with lack of posts. That's great! :)

Example: I post in reply to your message. I like to personally reply to each person, and yes, I do get a lot in a row when there are a lot that I'm replying to. (I can't reply right below the message, it goes to the END of the thread, so mine are clumped together). But, yes, I laugh when I see the train of posts. ;) Thanks for the approval!

OK, I won't ask you to translate a political speech into Japanese (you know, when I take over the world), but maybe I'll try to find you when I feel like I'm surrounded by parents... Spelling things so I won't know what they're saying... Only it'll be fellow onliners who are speaking Japanese. You know. ;)

Thanks for the offer of your services!

I am accepting headshots and resumes for mechs, actually, funny you should ask! Would you be interested in a position as Vice Ruler of The World? I will have to interview your mech prior to your assuming the position, but I hope that will be a small inconvenience!

Hi and welcome, Hari! ^____^ Have fun and definitely post lots - at least more than Kristal.XDXD *hehe*

YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Doozo yoroshiku = "Nice to meet you," in a formal way. Yoroshiku is the informal way.

You know what, man, 5-7 years is just about EXACTLY my time frame! Out of college, money spent, see no future, pay no rent, all the money gone -- TIME TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Yes, that's a quote from a Beatles song, not plagiarizing or anything... ;) So, let's talk, although I think the sticks, dirt, saliva, and leaves have potential... I mean, the dirt alone did wonders for the human race...

I'm with you, totally! My "skills" aren't anything wirth speaking of, either. I've got some decent sketches, but only because I graph (I'm a spatial relations person, NOT an artistic person -- my sketches are ACCURATE, DETAILED, and totally unoriginal). Poetry, same deal. I like Dr. Seuss. ;)

I'd love to read your short stories!!! If you have them online, get me the link, or maybe pm me if that works... I haven't experimented with the capacity of that feature... And I believe my E-mail is accessible to you, so feel free to get writing to me that way!

And, thank you for the translation! *opens little book of Japanese phrases and jots a note* I'll get this before too long!

A few tips.

1. Your signature line causing annoying pop-ups because the host went off-line. I've snipped it out. Feel free to link back to the image when it's OK again.

2. Don't double (or triple!) post like you did above. Instead, combine the replies into a single reply.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close
