Is something wrong with hotmail?

I have a hotmail account and it hasn't been working properly lately. I can't open new emails (or any emails for that matter) or delete old ones. Is it just me or is something wrong with the hotmail service in general? If there is, could I expect it to be fixed anytime soon whilst my inbox piles up with unreadable messages and those waiting for replies from me grow impatient, come to my door, and hit me upside the head with a baseball bat?

It worked for someone I helped at work a few hours ago... How long have you had the issue?

You haven't installed any pop-up blocking software, have you?

I don't know. Maybe about a week or so now. We haven't installed any other software to my knowledge.

well, hotmail alone isn't the best email service. But anyway, could this be tied in with that MSN IM worm?

I've been having Internet problems period all week. I connect no bother, but then when I open any webpages it just doesnt open!

SB: Are you getting any errors at all?

skynes: When was the last time you ran adaware? what browser are you using? Also, how are you able to post if you can't get to any web pages? :lol:

a few days ago I was getting server errors. maybe M$ got attacked or something? or maybe a server just broke.

Nope. I have no idea what could be causing it. I've never had any problems with hotmail until this happened.

what browser are you using?

IE. I tried Netscape and it won't work either.

Also, how are you able to post if you can't get to any web pages?

University computers.
