Area 88

Hello everyone!

SUBJECT: AREA 88

Has anyone seen this Anime film? It contains 3 episodes, was a Manga as well (first). My daughter liked the first two episodes. The third episode ended "awful". It was very wrenching. The music was amazing.

Any comments?

I had an interest in it, since it was my understanding that it was the story behind the later game "UN Squadron," which I also enjoyed. But I have never seen it. I understand it's quite violent, though.

BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Fighter planes ARE the violence. Likely the video game is more violent, in my opinion (but I don't really know). This is a psychological drama, very riveting and the last episode crashes!!!! It needs to be re-written. REALLY!

A deeper meaning is there. Trying and trying and compromising until the sorrow is so very deep. The end is crazy though, incomprehensible. Odd thing is this film touched my daughter so deeply -- her life was changed as a result.

God uses anything to speak to our hearts. Anime too.
