Ebay Game System Madness!

Postby Galant » Fri Oct 08, 2004 2:10 pm

And! For the paltry sum of $11,500, one lucky bidder walked away with: THIS LOT!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I want to know is, who builds a collection like that, and I wonder what the buyer will do with it all!

Perhaps there's good business to be had on ebay....individual re-sale anybody?

:)

I wonder what he's going to do with it.

I imagine he could flog the stuff individually for more than he bought it. That'll be a pay off!

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Hmmm...doesn't look like there are many games in that lot :shady: . Still, it is a most impressive collection of consoles and peripherals.

I buy a lot of games on Ebay (latest purchase: Star Wars: Battlefront for $35 :thumb: ), mainly due to the fact that they are so much cheaper than retail (even if you buy them sealed). I would be a little wary of buying systems though, since there is a greater chance that they will not work.

oh. my. gosh. O_O Some people just don't have lives... Think of how much he paid for all those over time. Who needs that many consoles anyways??? I'm happy with my 4 - PS2 Xbox Gamecube and a N64 we don't use anymore.

But still... wow... *___* It looks so pretty
