One thing I do want to avoid is an atmosphere where everyone points fingers at everyone else in suspicion. That's why I think Galant's idea of "and posting a list of offending usernames" is a nice idea on first blush, but will lead to a lot of acrimony. I don't think having a public black list will help matters any.
In that same vein (directed not just at ZiP), while we want any and -all- reports of harrassment, even ones you're not sure about, I'm asking that in fairness to everyone here that all concerns be PMmed, please -- don't post them. Many episodes in the past have been misunderstandings -- some haven't, unfortunately, but making that call is our job. A public post nails someone without any kind of investigation at all.
Our intention with CAA is to create a safe, non-threatening environment. A watchful attitude is perfectly in-line with that desire. An attitude of suspicion isn't. Let us do the work of nailing the fortunately very few bad folks that show up here, while you do your job of enjoying the rest of your time on the boards, okay?
