Actually, there are three instalments of the series.....Chaotic Century/Guradian Force/ and Century Zero. I'll try to brush up a little on all three of these series as much as I can. And of course there will be links a many for further info on characters, ZOIDS, story lines, plots, etc......

TITLE: ZOIDS series
TYPE: Running series
NUMBER OF SERIES: 3

STORY SYNOPSIS:
ZOIDS Chaotic Century: Story revolves around the character Van whom is a little child that accidentlly finds two pods carrying a little girl named Fiona and an organoid (Organic Zoid capable of fusing with other ZOIDS to make them stronger and Uprgrading ZOIDS to the pilots full potental) named Zeeke. After he finds them he wakes them up and they both tag along with him. After this he then runs into an abandoned Sheild Liger Zoid. Not knowing what to do they are attacked and he is forced to pilot the Sheild Liger to protect himslef and Fiona. Just then, Zeeke fuses with the Sheild Liger and they ward off the enemy.
Later on we find out there is a war going on between a Republic and an Empire (sort of like Star Wars if you will, ). Turns out the Emperor (another little child) has turned up missing and the person behind the Emperor's abduction then forces himself on the throne and starts attacking the neighboring Republic to over throw it and collect ZOID cores (they are kind of the ZOID's battery) to re-awaken an ancient evil Ultimate ZOID known as the Deathsaurer. Only which then he will try to rule the planet.
Well, things get more complicated as Van and his friends meet up with two mercinaries named Moonbay and Irvine......they later on befriend them and find the lost Emperor. Now they try to help them regain the throne before the Deathsaur is awakened.
ZOIDS: Guardian Force......There is once again peace between the Republic and the Empire, and Van, Fiona, Zeeke, Irvine, and Moonbay are now part of a group called the Guardian Force, whom's job is to keep the peace and protect the President of the Republic and the Emperor of the Empire (Their bodyguards in other words.) Suddenly, assasination attempts break out and stations are destroyed and it is their job to find out whom is doing all this. One thing to remember......Fiona has her own mission...to find something called the ZOID-Eve, which is to bring peace or something to the planet Zi (The place were all this is taking place)
They also learn that Raven (an old nemisis whom worked for the Empire during the war) is one of the hands on hire whom uses his own organoid, Shadow, to carry out his missions.
We also learn that there are two other organoids whom are under the leadership of two other hired hands.....each with their own agenda. One of the organoids (Ambient) is then used to fuse together two scorpion ZOID cores to and create the Deathstinger.....a ZOID with destructive capabilities that rival that of the Deathsaur.
Now the Guardian force has to re-awaken another Ultimate ZOID called the Ultrasaurus and find the ZOID-Eve to defeat the Deathstinger.
ZOIDS: New Century Zero.......This series is probably the one most people are familular with. It takes place a little over a thousand years after the great wars, and a ZOID battle commision is formed to rule over Zoid battles, turnaments using the Zoids to win prize money and tournaments. The main story line here is centered around a new character called Bit Cloud, whom causes a Battle team (The Blitz Team) to lose a battle and later joins them because he turns out to be the only one capable of piloting a Zoid known as Liger Zero, and Ultimate X Zoid (Ultimate X......Zoid whom has an organoid system, or organoid permenately fused with it. Another distinguishing characteristic of an Ultimate X is the armor chaging system, also known as the C.A.S.) Also, we learn of another Ultimate X known as the Beserker Fury (Bezerker Fuhrer in Japan) whom is seemingly Liger Zero's rival. the battle between these two is rather vicious indeed.

MY TAKE:
Whew! Did I write all that? Anyway I absolutely luv this series, it is funny, serious, has great character development, and it mixes traditional animation with CG cell shaded animation to make a very nice blend and a very great show. Also they are actuall baised off Working Model Figures which you build into working Zoids yourself. How cool is that? I myself own around five of them....including the Ultrasaur ^^

WARNINGS:
Uh, don't try this at home? ^^;;;;;

CHRISTIAN SUBJECT MATTER:
Hum, not much of anything. There's the ZOID-Eve thing, but it really has nothing to do with Eve or anything like that.

RATING: 5/5

ALSO RECOMENDED:
Robotech
Gundam
Transformers
....you get the picture ^_-

he mess;
macross
megazone
mozaopoa spelling is bad sorry!

because i watched all the macross series so far and it is better than what he did.

in order for macross;
macross
macross flashback2012
macross plus
macross 7
macross dynamite 7
macross zero macross zero takes place before macross but y'all know that.
I n September of 2012 Megaroad-01 was launched with an escort of fleet of zentraedi warships. From that point on the mass-production of the Megaroad -class colony ship began and soon long-range colony fleets were routinely being launched from earth solar system at a rate of 1-2 per year.
In September of 2022 Megaroad-19 colony ship with it’s escort fleet left earth and headed south fifteen degrees to the right of the southern star. On a mission with three objection; One to search for a planet to colonize, two to see what the rim of the galaxy looks like, three to see if any zentraedi fleets are out there. On July 21, 2025 Megaroad-19 entered its ninth star system and named it the sierra system.
Orbiting the third planet is an asteroid that was some ten miles in size, and a moon that was named Karla.

Robotech is a US localization of three different anime series that were originally not connected. Macross, Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeda. From what I heard, the original Macross is a great series. Macross is available on DVD from Animeigo, but it doesn't seem to be in stores anymore. The other two will be coming to DVD in the original form very soon.

Yeah, I can't stand what they did. Especially when people get confused when you mention one of the "Robotech" series.

Back onto the subject of Zoids. :o Zoids Chaotic Century is by far the best right next Zero Century.

I agree, Chaotic Century was much better, not to mention the characters were just way cooler. Bit was a wuss most of the time, and Brad was kinda a spud. Although I felt like the ending to CC was a little lacking, not to mention the obvious rush job on the dubbing, it was still better than Zero.

Well actually I think New Century Zero is my favorite. It is not actually a show you watch when you want something intellectual stimulating though. :sweat: It is almost like they took every biased character and stuck them in an anime (the dumb rich kind, the clueless guy who always wins, the money crazed guy, the clueless parent, etc.) But that is part of what makes the series so fun!

I started watching the other two series and I just didn't like them as much. The Zoids in New Century just seem to have more of a personality then in either of the other two series. In the other two the Organoids are the only ones who get any sort of character.
