Hi everyone, my name is Kalvin Graphic, and I'm running for President. Er, wait, wrong speech.

Hai, Boku wa Sheherazade no oniisan desu. I'm going to give a general "hi" to everyone who posted in this thread. Ready? Okay, here it is: hi everybody.

I'll now address some particular posts:

ssj2gohan61: Sheh is nice, it's her you should be commiserating with now that I'm here :) (j/k about the commiserating part)

anonymous: (001, j00 5p34|< 1337? P3r50|\|411y I 7|-|i|\||< 17 15 f4R 700 5i11y f0r |\|0r|\/|41 (0|\/||\/||_||\|1(4710|\| 8|_|7 I (4|\| r34|) 4|\||) \/\/r173 17. 411 ph34r |\/|y |_33¯|¯ \/\/r171|\|g 5ki11z!!!!!

cbwing0: yes, I play video games. On the PC, I liked the Command & Conquer games (I had the original C&C, but it's the DOS version. I also have C&C: Tiberian Sun (and Firestorm expansion), and the Red Alert 2 (with Yuri's Revenge expansion)). I also like Starcraft/Brood War. Sometimes I play Unreal Tournament. On the PS2, my father and I had great fun with Half-Life and are still playing ATV Offroad Fury 2. Those are some of the current favourites.

termyt: Yeah, I don't usually post "Hi, I'm new here"-type threads. (actually, I don't think I've ever posted a "Hi, I'm new here" thread for myself. This was my dear imoutochan's idea.)

Golden_Griff: Why do you feel I'm challenging your dominance, and in what area?

uc pseudonym: I also was unaware that I needed welcome. As I said to termyt, it was Sheherazade's idea. Also, thank you.

Esoteric: I'm actually the one who supplied Sheherazade with Trigun. Our fight is with the 3-foot S-Video cable that barely reaches around the side of the TV. (we keep most of our anime on laptops) Also, thank you for the compliment on my sig. It was hard work turning the picture sideways :)

Kinkosami: I just picked something and it fit. A few years back, I was reading another forum, in which a guy was asking why the design of an ampersand ( & ) was looking wrong. I enjoy calligraphy, and, since the reason I was delurking was related to the subject, I guess that kind of influenced my thinking. (if you're curious about the ampersand: the angles were different from the rest of the lettering, and it was crossed with the wrong line "on top")

Icarus: Well met, good man.

Sunako: (-eth endings are third-person, by the way) I don't think we've met; the last time I saw the space needle, I was using it to sew some space stuff. As for my location, I'm probably within 20 feet of sheherazade at the moment (I think).

A question, that I do not believe has been addressed at this point: who is featured in your avatar and signature? It strikes me as extremely reminiscent of something, but at the moment I am not making any connections.

So, we're all here welcoming Kaligraphic, even though a lot of us have already run into him and such, but where is the man himself?

look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

Hi Kaligraphic,

Its nice to meet you.

Is there anything noteworthy you would like to warn... er tell us about yourself?

See you around,

-kaji
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I'm kinda confused. Okay, I've seen Kaligraphic around before I posted on this thread so if he was here before, was there not already a welcome thread for him? ^_^ Oh, well, whatever. These things are usually pretty fun!

He never started one. I started this because he is a great guy who deserves the warmest welcome, so naturally, if he wasn't going to make one then I would. Your awesome Kaligraphic. I'm glad to have you here. :)

Bwahaha, S-video cable you say? *runs into room and grabs it. Jumps out window. Kaligraphic and Sheherazade stop fighting and pursue.* Just Kidding

Good to meet you. And if your S-video cable ever happens to disappear... it wasn't me.
