Nope, it's elementary my dear andyroo. All I did was use deductive reasoning, assumptions, and elaborate on them. I can either be right, or way, way off.

You could be only a little off. Isn't that, you know, a little better?

Postby Ashley » Sat Aug 30, 2003 6:32 am

Just to give you guys a general idea of the load I carry around Monday-Friday.

Ok, I had my work clothes in here, but I took them out for space, so that doesn't count.

Main pocket: stack of journalism papers I meant to hand out weeks ago but never had the chance to, english 4 notebook, government/euro history folder, advertising folder, radio diary (you make a log of all the stations you listen to for a week), euro history spiral, Euro History book, anatomy and physiology binder/short stories I'm working on, latin folder, general homework folder (so I don't lose anything), story assignments for Newspaper, my planner, government spiral, anatomy and physiology spiral, grammer workbook, pencil bag/money bag.

first small pocket one blue pen, 2 3.5 floppy disks, reporter's notebook, latin spiral.

smallest pocket Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, complete with post-it-noted pages, post it notes, and book-mark size post it notes, hairband, and look, a dollar! Also, my press pass.

Whew.

A radio diary is a small booklet this company called Arbitron sends out. Basically, you keep track of any radio station you may have heard during the day, and what time. Anything from music at work to an elevator to your car...you write it down for a week.

In my backpack? Hmm... Ahem...

BINDER
Book I`m currently reading
Calculator
Various Writing Utensils and Writing Utensil Equivilents

BACKPACK
An old Gameboy link cable
Textbooks
House Key

That`s about it. My knapsack gets really heavy with any more.
I'm back to make a post or two every couple years...

Very well done, I am surprised you could figure this by my backpack contents...Especially the part about unfastidious living quarters? If that translates into "a dump," you're right on, since my room is a mess. But there is order...Sure...I have a drawer for drawing stuff, a drawer for video game stuff (loaded to the brim with n64 cartridges and scratched dreamcast discs), and a drawer for the consoles themselves. I'm thinkin about selling the DC and n64, since I have a whopping 2 GCN games. Geez, sorry for writing a book here...

Arbitron does ratings (kind of a radio Nielsen), so that makes sense, but do you get anything out of it, like free stuff or anything?

When I was younger, they offered me $2.00 to write down everything I watched on TV. I found out I could make more than that collecting cans!

Man, they'd better cough up some real dough, or else they'll get eight hundred thousand radio diaries that someone just scribbled in stations for, and turned in the same day. Although, I guess that would say which stations have the highest exposure in the public eye ...

Only a dollar? After all that work for a week... I've had friends get 5 dollars (or more) for answering a few questions from serveys at the mall. Come to think of it, I wish that I had a radio that worked... only radio that does work is in my dad's car (as in car radio).

Look! I finally did it!

Michael
I don't know. Your backpack is too scary to analyze.

Bunny
You are constantly putting life in a bag and shaking it up a little. Mundane, everyday things bore you to tears, so you have to put a little bit of yourself into everything you do. You're precise in an upheaval like manner, but never finicky. You really want to be understood by everyone, but you also refuse to become predictable and ordinary. You have a fairly small attention span, but it's of your own choosing - there's just too much to see, think about and do that you don't like staying on one thing for too long. Your friends probably turn to you when looking for an unconditional smile. If you were to order an ice cream right now, you'd probably try something you've never had before.
Your title: "Eclectic Soul"

firestorm
You love imaginative things, but you'd rather be making your own rather than experiencing another person's creations. Your head is frequently in the clouds, but moving like a fighter jet. Yet sometimes your imagination runs too fast for even you to deal with, so you make yourself do something in the real world. You like to please people with your own work, and you love to make simple things into really cool things.
Your title: "Cloud Skimmer"

djkidprimative
Obviously you're not the same person now as you were when you had that backpack ... so I'm afraid it doesn't count. That's a good thing, though!
Your title: "Transformed Sk8ter"

Ashley
Strictly going from what's in your backpack mind you ... You are a serious worker who takes responsibility very seriously. You need a lot for your everyday activity, so you shoulder it and lug it around with you - as you also do with life. Your mind goes many places, but doesn't leave very good trail markers, so you find you constantly have to leave notes so you can find your way back to that thought.
Your title: "Multitasker"

Master Kenzo
Let's see ... you didn't give me a whole lot to work with. You probably jaunt through life with a fairly carefree manner. You know your limitations and don't care to push them, whether it be in school, physically, or mentally. You're a little forgetful, but not with important things.
Your title: "Windblown Leaf"

djnoz
You are an expert on using whatever is handy to accomplish what you want to. Your mind is constantly exploring fresh ideas, and your eyes catch all that's around you to see what you can learn. But when it comes time, you buckle down and let your task absorb you. Sometimes, it even lets you up for air.

Cool! You really made a wallet out of duct tape?

Wow, that was all surprisingly true of me. Except the ice cream deal, everytime I get ice cream I get the same kind because it's my absolute favorite and I only get to have that kind about once a month. On the rare occassions that they run out, I do try new things, however.
"So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the LORD. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor."
