need some ideas for my manga

I want some of your guys help to develope an assassin type team for my manga (The Jinni Hatsukyuokan). They are basically a group of assassins and mercanaries that are sent to eliminat emy mangas main characters.

Thiers 12 of them in all.

So far I have these members:
Ougan Dead Eye - can paralyze anyone with his mcahnical eye
Roukaimozou Copy Cat - can copy anyones appearances and abilities
Isairoozu Red Rose - much like Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, he can create roses.
Gin’yoku Blind Angel - a blind guy who can create angel wings and devastating attacks.
Shottosikenestu Gun’s Smith - can amniupulate and control his bullets.
Kuragari Raven Lord - can control ravens and crows.

I need 5 more (im planning the leader) and if you guys have any ideas of a assassin that has a very unique ability, please post the,

You can even name him or her. Make sure you have it the style of my names. A japanese name that reflects the character (for instance Kuragari means "dark; gloomy" in which Kuragari is. And tehn add in english a two word name that shows what thier unique ability is.

Meh, I'm not going to bother with names. I need all of my own. But I can do my best to throw out some abilities from the top of my head.

Abilities:
-someone whose body is a weapon. Every part of his/her body is capable of becoming a weapon of some sort
-an assassin capable of instantly traveling from shadow to shadow. That is, he could move from the shadow of another to a protagonist's shadow, already prepared to attack
-an iron body type. That is, their primary ability is nearly unbreakable defenses. You can slash them with a sword, but it won't really hurt them much
-someone who controls another being, most likely someone with a weak physical body
-someone capable of creating a massive flash blinding everyone nearby (not that this effects the blind guy...)

UC, I really like the idea of the shadow person. Reminds me of one of the demon-characters from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. He made it.

I also love the idea of the iron/metal dude. He could all be machine. If I don't get any more suggestions until it's time for me to start to dveelope these characters, I might throw him in.

actually I decided to go with the Iron man on this one. If i dont have enough ideas, I'll use the shadow guy.

One reason is cause I already have a dark type person (Kuragari Raven Lord whooses fairly gothic looks with crows about him).

The iron dude I thought would be would be able to transform into a large suit of iron. He looks alot like Leilong from Outlaw Star. Short hair, very tired eyes (kakashi-esque) with bags underneath, and a small goatee/mustcahe beard thing.

Are you just looking for extremely unique abilities, or do you want developed characters? What role exactly does this assassination squad play, other than what you stated? Of course, if you don't need any more ideas, it doesn't matter.

well my entire story is set in Fuedel Japan (unknown time frame...it's a fantasy history I guess). If you want to get a feel of who these characters are, take Triguns Gung Ho Guns, mix them with the Juppon Gatanana from Kenshin and the unique abilities concept of Naruto and you get this assassin team. They are sent to eliminiate the main characters for unknwon reasons (meaning I haven't developed them yet lol).

These characters would be semi-developed. Like they may get 2-3 chapters to themselves. So they last longer than most supporting villaian characters. I want these characters to have a certain ability that is unqiue to them that no one else has. So i want thier abilities to be well cool but also unique and intresting.

I had to take out one character Shottosikenestu Gun’s Smith cause this is fuedal japan and I dont feel like putting guns in it. So thiers another slot for an idea of a character.

How about a character that can slow down time, for a "bullet-time" style effect. He could wear several watches, including a rather large one around his neck. He could be called the Clock Master or something similar.

How 'bout a westerner, maybe a catholic missionary hiding from anti-foreigner oppression? That could make for some interesting backstory: how did this guy go from man of God to assasin, anyway? It'd be especially interesting if you made it unclear if he's really bad at all. (don't ask me how you'd do that, I'm making this up as I go)

I like that idea though he'd have to have a unique ability. But I do want developed characters but that well developed lol

And also I don't really want this to be like Kenshin wehre people from Germany (or whereever they came from) gets involved. Like I said this is Fuedel Japan, but like the world they lived in wasn't there. From my early planning, the Japanese has no idea of foreigners or that they are not th eonly ones on the earth.

Well, not to sound nitpicky, but Japan knew there was SOMETHING else outside their land, they just didn't care about any of it. That would explain why this fellow's hiding with a bunch of assisins, of course...

Hey, there's an ability for you: Stealth. Not simple sneaking around in shadows (though that would be a useful thing for an assasin to know) but the abitility to actually become invisible.

I like the character. Why not raise it a level higher and make him truly invisible: he casts no shadow, has no scent, etc. The only way you would be aware of him was if he disrupted something or touched you.

If you really want to understand what my manga is bout, it's time frame is set up much like Naruto. Japan is almost like a fantasy-esque Japan. They either don't know bout other lands outside of Japan or I just don't address it. I just want it to be osley Japan.

About Mr. Invisible: (Ick. Worst... Name... EVER. ) I just realized something about the invisibleness. There would have to be two little dark spots where his pupils are. Think about it, to be invisible, light would have to pass completely through him. but if no light is absorbed by his retinas, then he'd be blind!

Actually, that could be an interesting twist to the guy's power. Even though he's invisible, he still has to make sure he's not looking at anyone so they don't see his eyes. If nothing else, it'd keep him from being too powerful and making it dificult to keep tension up.

Well, I decided to stop taking submissions cause I hardly got any safe from UC and Blitxkrieg - thanks guys

I realy needed some help thinking off some.

The ideas I took from Uc and Blitxkrieg was -
- a guy who can envelope himself in a suit of iron
- a guy who can turn invisible
- a guy who can mel tinto shadows

I also took the idea of Blitxkrieg and developed a minister whoose a good guy but has not good habits. He will be a main chatacter. His man power is Fire.

since I didnt get any submissions and with th ehelp of some poeple with developement...I've made the rest of the Jinni Hatskyokan.

- a young gril who can control razor sharp ribbons
- a old small guy who carried a humongous sword
- twins that can duplicate thier bodies
-and th eleader who can control inside peoples bodies like thier bones, blood, and anything else. (kind alike what UC suggested)

and then thiers Zou Shimaru who leads the entire group is a main character and ends up bieng a "good" guy in the end.

I was kinda dissapointed to see very view responses but i got some goo dideas. Thanks ^_^

Are n-e of tha assassins u have gurls? If not u should make one named Seductive Sakura (Sakura Maiden). Ok, u can edit tha name if u want. U should have someone on your team with tha powers of a true blue female. No, she's not tha color blue. Of course she has tha beauty of a rose, but a bite of a Praying Mantis. She'll have tha power to lure men into a world of illusion and fantasy. She'll look into the enemy's mind to see what they most desire, creat it, then trap them in her deadly web of deception (kackle kackle kackle). How does that sound to u so far? PM me what u think!!!
